Had dinner here last night. It’s the best falafel and hummus I have had in a long time.

Ok food in lovely decor - Edit
Huge menu with both Thai & international options. Beautiful cozy decor with plants & dim lighting. Service is okay. Portions are good but quality is sacrificed a bit with all that choice and prices are on the expensive side for Bangkok.

expensive for portion sizes! - Edit
I ordered falafel and pitta and houmous with the vegetable juice. It was all tasty but honestly the portions were so small for the price! Also the menu is kinda pushy and patronising about choosing healthy options which just kind of put me off a bit!

Hmmm - Edit
I ordered flat noodles and vegetables and it arrived In a very gloopy quite tasteless sauce. Luckily we had spring rolls to share and they were yummy. I’d recommend going to mai kaidees just a few doors down instead! Much tastier and friendlier service!

Meh - Edit
I had the Tom yum which was quite fresh and nice as well as the spring rolls. But my friend ordered vegetable noodles which were so bad she couldn’t eat them. I’d say just go to May Kaidees. It’s cheaper and so much more delicious!

Amazing food, slow service - Edit
The food is beautiful here. But pretty pricy for Thailand and service can be lax. No real sense of urgency with them. it can prove difficult to get their attention when they are all on their phones.

Pros: Mostly vegan and plenty of vegetarian options.
Cons: service needs to be more attentive and quick

Pretentious towards vegans - Edit
Didn't actually eat here because of their pretentious, anti-vegan cherry picked science messages on the menu telling vegans to not consume various "unhealthy" soy products from their own menu (???) because of the phytoestrogens etc (no cited scientific journals of course), yet no warnings about dairy products? No thank you, go next door to May Kaidees where they have cheaper and delicious vegan food without the condescending tone

Huge vegan menu in Khaosan - Edit
Ethos is a pleasant vegetarian restaurant, neighbor of May Kaidee's one. It has an extensive vegan menu clearly indicated, of mainly Thai food with some western options. The place is very pleasant thanks to its decoration, and has good vibes. The food is good, maybe not the best, but very decent even if prices are a bit high for Thailand. I had the morning glory stir fry, the tom yam soup and their fried homemade tempeh. Everything was good and finely cooked. I recommend a stop at least once!

it's ok.. - Edit
This place seems to have a lot of hype. another vegan joint
Read moretargeting western hipsters .I ordered a tofu,
veggie and rice dish. I asked them to make it spicy, it
wasn't at all. It was quite bland over all. Lacking flavor
and salt. It was also a bit pricey(for Bangkok). Mind you,
I think they are going for a more healthy 'clean food' approach. . So maybe it's for you? I won't return.

One of the many vegan restaurants on Veggie soi next to Khoa San rd. Great vibe and friendly staff! Many dishes are from all over world and best to enjoy it with a nice smoothy.

ottimo - Edit

Don’t waste your time or money - Edit
I can here after reading about their wonderful breakfast muesli. It had absolutely no flavor. The only redeeming factor was the fresh fruit salad. The kids serving me also seemed bothered I was even there. I was so disappointed. Go down the street to May Kaidee!!

Great food selection and quality - Edit
I had high hopes coming here after reading the reviews and for the most part they were met! The menu was fun to go through, everything had a thorough explanation and there were health tips too. I ordered the falafel and pita bread set and my boyfriend the red curry. Both were delicious and fair portion for the price. The only reason I am giving 4 starts is because there was a huge cockroach hiding out in one of the paper mache trees inside and it would creep out and go back in. Since this restaurant is open to the street I can see how one can easily get in and it’s not the restaurants fault. Nonetheless it made my experience here pretty unpleasant because I was constantly watching it making sure it wouldn’t get close. Worth checking out, just don’t sit next to these trees which are a good hideout for cockroaches.

tasty curry - Edit
Came here on my first night night Bangkok. Thai green curry was very tasty but the extra portion of rice was little bit on a small side.
Read moreOn another day I was desperate for some veggies and ordered mixed veg salad which comes with delicious mustard dressing and hummus. If I remember right it’s around 140bth for the salad which was mostly made with lettuce. I found it little bit overpriced for what you get.
The restaurant itself is cosy and away from the noise of Khao San road.
Pros: delicious food , relaxed atmosphere
Cons: expensive

The best Green Curry in Bangkok - Edit
The tofu green curry is to die for - the best I’ve ever had. Ethos has a very zen atmosphere, and the food is really fresh! The Pad Thai was not very flavourful, but the papaya salad was great.

good but not special - Edit
After we had heard a lot of good things about ‚ethos‘ we arrived there with high expectations. The atmosphere is nice and warm and they have a good variety of meals.
Read moreThe meals we had (Massaman Curry, Tom Yam Soub and Spicy Salad) all consisted of the same veggies and they all tasted the same. We missed the autentic flavour . Also the price was higher compared to similar restaurants nearby.
We were confused by a sentence in the menu: ‚Vegan coffees made with soy milk available on request but not recommended for health reasons. Vegans are adviced to drink pute fruit and vegetable juice‘.
Pros: atmosphere, variety on the menu
Cons: taste , price

Unbedingt Hummus und Falafel probiere! - Edit
Pros: Ruhige Atmosphäre obwohl sehr zentral, leckeres Essen
Cons: mittlere Preise

Nice atmosphere, great variation of food, good english! - Edit
We found this gem close to khao san road. The ac could have been better but the atmosphere made up for it. My gluten-free friends loved the gluten free vegan pancakes with fruits on them. Good selection of soy shakes, coconut shakes, juices and more. Also a mix or traditional thai dishes with western food aswell.
Read moreMenu is all vegetarian and vegan (the vegan food is in green and is like 75% of the menu). Good english on menu and staff knows it good too.
