A backpackers favourite spot - Edit
Ethos is more than a great place.
Read moreThis restaurant combines real traveller vibe, asian culture with seating mats on the floor (loved it), a visionary owner and a great tasting menu.
The location is just right! Crossing the street from Khao San and just down a little alley, you will find this enchanting spot welcoming you with plants hanging at the entrance, nice music and organic greens.
Me an my friend went back serveral times - making new friends. We tried different fried rice, morning glory, fruit platter, coconut shakes and fresh greens. I enjoyed their BIG salad more than once, served with a mustard/curry dressing and hummus, both which you will come back for.
So good!!!

Delicious but be careful if vegan - Edit
The food here was all excellent. One concern was that once ordering the hummus with pita, the hummus came with cream on top (which I didn't remember being listed in the description) rendering it no longer vegan. So when you're ordering, make it clear to them that you want vegan food and not vegetarian!

Nice veggie place - Edit
Nice restaurant with a big menu. Unfortunately they had no chai or soup which is what we wanted. Ended up having the spaghetti and ‘meatballs’ and it was really nice. Would recommend

Even if it is more expensive than other Thai restaurants it is totally worth it if you want to envoy a clean and healthy meal! I love the tables where you can sit on the floor. You should try a dish with the tempeh (rare in other restaurants in Thailand) and their homemade Kombucha!

everything was spot on - Edit
I ate here everyday and had the following: paenang curry, tom yum noodle soup, mango sticky rice, ginger and lime kombucha, blueberry kombucha, and a banana/dragonfruit smoothie. Everything was more than I could’ve hoped for! Portions are great and the food was excellent.

Huge helping of greens 😍 - Edit
My fiancé and I went here under the happy cow recommendations and we were so pleased with the serving size and taste profiles provided for us. It’s also a nice place to read a book as they have a selection to choose from if you find yourself coming here alone or if you and your friends want to read and eat 🤓

The place is a great relief in the middle of Bangkok. Highly recommend the coconut masala drink. The hummus and pita are by far the best I've ever had. The vegan banana pancakes are good as well.

great find - Edit
I found Ethos on HappyCow, cos Mango was closed (at 10am). I ordered tempeh salad with peanut dressing. It was HUGE an absolutely delicious. Kombucha was a bit too sweet and weak for me. Very nice setting, you can sit on the ground or table.

Had to leave Review :D - Edit
I'm primarily a low fat raw vegan, I've been to Mango and here and they both had the BEST size salads I've ever gotten at a restaurant! Finally! I will say Mango's salad was better and gave more, yet I was happy with Ethos as well. I tasted my beloved's yellow curry and I think it may have been the best Curry I've ever had. SO good!

bad vibes - Edit
Ordered simple fried noodles 100B which was ok, had fresh pepper corns but could have been more tasty. A coco pineapple shake 70B, which was good but would have been really good when it would have been cold. The music was too loud, had to ask 3 times till they put it a little down. The music was a mix of African, Spanish, and new age. It was irritating and then became really annoying. We skipped dessert and left the place because of this.
Read moreCan't call this a particularly cheap place.
Pros: swift service
