Quaint brunch spot with limited seating (room for about 4-5 people at side counters indoors and some outdoor tables). Ordered a small berry porridge and large plum porridge. The small portion seemed like a hearty size. Tasty overall but got a bit tired of the same flavors to eat the large portion. Not the most appetizing looking — beige/brown-ish color of the porridge served in a similarly colored bowl

My partner was reluctant to come here as not the biggest fan of porridge. I think we converted him with the banana special with home made almond butter, berry compote and caramelised bananas! Can’t recommend this place enough x

The porridge was good, and almost everything was vegan. If they would just drop the dairy products… Also surprised that they charged extra for plant milk in coffee.
Read moreIt was packed full on a monday around 11 o’clock. You might want to be prepared to wait for seating in high season, or maybe opt for take away if possible.

Read moreBoth food and drinks come with plant milk (oat) , but are also available with cow's milk.
Make sure you enter the Fågel, not the normal artisan next door. But the staff will help you if you ask for vegan food.

A great way to spend a half-hour while waiting for my clothes at the local laundromat. The staff was friendly, English was spoken, the service was swift, and, unlike the affiliated bakery next door, the place was not busy.

Their porridge is the best thing I’ve ever eaten for breakfast. We were only in Budapest for 3 days and it was so good we visited Fågel twice! And I think I’d travel back to Budapest just for their porridge.

They offer daily sweet and savory porridge specials, but there’s also an option to create your own. I had one with sour cherries, chocolate, granola, nut butter and coconut foam! It was such an indulgent treat - and it was well balanced considering the composition of the ingredients. The porridge base is creamy and made with oat milk! Coffee was good too - decaf available. #Veganuary

If you like porridge this is your place. Ever changing menu, a good variety of toppings, very filling meals and nice staff. Only con is it’s a little small, can feel crammed. Other than that, it’s great.

Pretty sure we've never come across a vegan porridge restaurant in our travels, but we thought this was a nice change of pace and a hearty brunch. The service was very friendly. It's a small place and the seating is limited with a couple of tables outside and a bar on the inside.

Looooads of porridge choices, from Snickers to Plum crumble. I had the plum crumble porridge and it was presented beautifully. Also tasted super yummy! Even though I ordered a small, it was very filling and I couldn’t finish it all. They also had good choices of drinks - I opted for a green smoothie. All different types of milk available, and friendly staff.
