I shared the veggie-tasting plate with my husband and we both thoroughly enjoyed each component of the dish. The falafel in particular was really good. I recommend this place for a filling lunch while out exploring the city.

The best falafel wrap I tasted during my 3-month Balkan trip! Eating it was like I'm back in the Middle East where I came from. The staff were also kind and accommodating. The place is a bit small, but there is outside sitting where you can enjoy the meal while people-watching.

i was in sarajevo two nights and i ate here three times lol. we tried the falafel burgers, falafel wrap, tabbouleh, roasted cauliflower and tomato soup, all of which were incredible. tasty cheap food and lots of vegan options!!

Si te encuentras en la ciudad vieja tienes que probarlo. Situado en unos de los pasajes, dispone de un interior muy pequeño, de unas dos o tres mesas, y un exterior con tres. Sitio muy agradable y personal encantador. Como su propio nombre indica, el falafel es el protagonista. Hemos probado el mini mix obrok y el hummus foul mini mix. Los dos tienen en común, 5 piezas de falafel y hummus. El obrok lleva mutabela (un baba ganoush brutal de sabor) y ensalada tabulé. El foul mini mix, lleva foul (un hummus de judías egipcias que está buenísimo por cierto) y ensalada mixta. Cada mix viene acompañado con un pan plano. Todo muy rico. 100% recomendable.

Read moreWe went for lunch and had a falafel sandwich (which is actually a pita) and a tabouleh bowl with falafels. For drinks we had an orange juice and a lemonade, both freshly made. We liked it all, the falafels are good and crispy and the price was good, so nothing to complain about.
The menu is also in English, which is very helpful.

We’ve been frequent visitors to Falafel during our stay in Sarajevo. The food has always been excellent and it’s super affordable (usually less than £8 for 2 people). We usually get the mixed plate with falafel balls, bread, salad, hummus and fries and some freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s so tasty and super fresh. Would highly recommend a visit!

I have been here three times during my stay in Sarajevo and it was amazing every time😄the staff is very friendly and helpful with finding the vegan options and there are many of those (e.g. eggplant, falafel, hummus, tabulah). We tried almost everything on the menu and it was all of great quality. I can recommend going here especially for vegetarians and vegans in Sarajevo!
