Delicious! - Edit
I was on lunch break at a work conference and I found this place thanks to Happy Cow. The owner, Fatima, was the sole worker when I went in. She was lovely & accommodated my needs.
Read moreThe food was OUTSTANDING! It took a bit, as it was mostly made to order, but 100% worth the wait.
When I brought my food back to the conference, everyone was commenting on the amazing smell. I promise, the taste was even better!
Pros: Made to order means they can accomodate your needs
Cons: I wouldn't come if I was in a rush.

Yummy African Plant-Based Food - Edit
Fabulous fresh cooked food, and the owners (who are also the servers) know vegan very well. Most of the food is cooked separately so it's easy to get veggies, lentils and bread or cornmeal only. My only criticism is that the greens were very salty, and difficult to chew -- and I'm a greens eater and a chewer!! Also, we have a preference for whole grains, and the flour / corn is not whole here. However, if salt and whole grains aren't concerns for you and you like tasty and wholesome, tasty, fresh food, and are open to trying new foods, you'll be delighted.

Plenty of vegan options, delicious! - Edit
The owners are so nice and very helpful. They really understand what vegan means and readily make suggestions. The food is like home cooking and so delicious! Excellent tea can be made without traditional milk, and a variety of exotic juices. Very reasonable prices. Simple, casual place with nice art on display for sale on walls. Park in back, beside, or on side street. Did I mention how delicious the food is? I love it here!

Outstanding food and service - Edit
The owner was nice enough to offer most everything as a vegan option although they serve non-vegan food here which is only reason for 4 stars. I had the spicy lentil and mixed vegetable samosas to start...outstanding!! I had Vegetable Stew with eggplant and spicy lentil and Chapatti bread. Highly recommended! I am visiting the area but would be a regular if I lived here.
