Delicious vegan Carribbean food - Edit
Huge recommend for this place. I go here loads and it's always so, so tasty. I'd recommend for two doing a main each and three sides to share - the dumplings are an absolute must. Brilliant!

Hearty Food - Edit
Great value for money. From the reduced menu we had curry chunks, peppered strips, dumplings, and rice and beans. Large portions (if you add rice and beans which you should), heavy on flavours! Almost over the top on the salt and spicyness (at least for us) but delicious. The dumplings are more like bread. We hade some banana cake as well which was very tasty with nice texture.

Nice flavour dishes, lacking soemthing - Edit
Gonna be picky with the one, tried quite a lot on their menu. I loved the fried plantain and a few other dishes but seems to be lacking that 5* experience. Also the decor isn't very fancy or comforting

Amazing flavours - Edit
I have had food from here a number of times but not for a while - ordered takeaway last night after a long day of travelling and it reminded me how amazing it is so felt compelled to write a review! Massive portions, unpretentious food, absolutely FULL of flavour. The Jamaican curry chunks is just SO good. Huge portion of rice and peas - enough for two or one very hungry person.

Caribbean perfection - Edit
Just loved having dinner here. We honestly just came for the food and did not expect that we would love eating in as much as we did. They offer take away and the interior is very basic and nothing fancy, but it just suits the place perfectly. We really liked having our dinner inside rather than grabbing some for take away.
Read moreThe staff was very friendly and relaxed, food was humble and tasty at the same time. I had the okra dish which was loaded with okra and my wife had the Ackee & tofu dish which is a very traditional dish apparently. Loved both of the dishes. We went for one bowl of rice and peas on the side so we could share. This was plenty, as it was a big bowl of rice & peas.
Still had some space after finishing the mains, so went for a piece of banana cake to share. Again, very simple but yet again very tasty. Loved it here!
Pros: Delicious home style Caribbean food, Nice music and vibe inside, Basic interior but it works so well

Vegtable-heavy high quality food - Edit
As many reviews alredy pointed out, this is an old-school vegan diner, with long-term ambition to provide us with well balanced food with carribean twis on the taste-buds.
Read moreAll dishes I've seen included raw veggies as garnish and cooked vegtables and pulses as base. It is not focused on the trending startups giving you all the fake meat. It's traitinoal midly processed veggies with tofu and a lot of spices.
I am really happy I visited Fi Real - I went there on a Saturday, which accroding to some internet sources is the off day for the place. It was open and fully operational.
Pros: Raw veggies, Cooked Veggies, Smoky spices
Cons: A bit off the track, A bit dark, semi-dimmed lighting

Amazing - Edit
All the good flavours. I had jerk tofu, spicy kale, rice & peas, dumplings & plantain, with the (non-alcoholic) Guinness punch. They were all perfect! (And did two meals!) The Guinness punch is a meal in itself - sweet, creamy & thick, definitely worth a try!

Very flavourful - Edit
Visited with my partner - we loved the okra + beans and jerk tofu, and had a side of fried plantains and rice and peas, all great. The service was a bit random though, slow, and it felt a bit like the FOH didn't really care. Probably just a bad day!

Amazing food - Edit
The food here is absolutely amazing and the menu is great. Only thing I'd say is that the service was rather slow (took over 30 mins to get a glass of water) and I'd say borderline unfriendly (although it was very busy at the time). I would definitely reccomend as the food is sooooo good but perhaps for takeaway.
