1st visit to Flat Earth Pizza - Edit
After finding Flat Earth Pizza on Instagram and seeing they do a number of vegan options on their menu we drove the 50 miles to try it out.
Read moreThis was such a worthwhile trip and an amazing meal. The Focaccia bread was so good and the pizza was lovely. However, the star of the meal was the Affogato for pudding!
Truly one of the best pizza restaurants and a must to try.

I liked that all their pizzas could be made with vegan cheese, meaning that there was lots of choice as a vegan. I had their oyster mushroom pizza (from the seasonal menu) and it was very tasty. I also tried the creamy mushroom pizza, which was my favourite. The ingredients were so fresh and light - I typically feel quite uncomfortably full and sluggish after a pizza but these pizzas didn’t make me feel like that at all!

Great vegan pizza - Edit
I had the creamy garlic mushroom pizza with plant based cheese. We also had the broccoli starter. My friend got a gluten free pizza. They were very accommodating and nice. Great environment. The dipping sauces for the crust are all plant based as well.

This pizza definitely lives up to its reputation of being one of the best in London. Got the focaccia to start which was absolutely divine! The staff were all super friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere inside - very cozy. The pizza was great, all seasonal ingredients, with balsamic roasted tomatoes, walnuts, cavalo Nero, straciatella vegan cheese.

I had a thoroughly fantastic meal at flat earth pizzas as a vegan. I actually had the marinara despite there being numerous options with vegan cheese as a default (although as they state, they can make any pizza vegan with the exception of the pizzas with eggs on, in which case they would just have to remove the egg). The marinara had capers and salsa verde, and was definitely one of, if not the most interesting marinaras I have ever had. The starters, including garlic bread and focaccia are all vegan. I live in Highbury and there are plenty of closer pizza places to me, but it’s worth the little trip over to Cambridge Heath way for these pizzas. I would recommend to any vegans living in/visiting London who want pizza.

Excellent and innovative pizza here and they're happy to veganise all the veggie ones. The stracciatella cheese topping (not to be confused with the ice cream!) is a vegan marvel. The Asian twist of the miso aubergine pizza with pickled radish worked really well and steered triumphantly clear of the too-often disappointing aubergine pizza topping situation. There's an interesting drinks list too. The vibe's really nice - the sort of place that's worth a special trip even though there are pizza places everywhere - with just the right amount of life-affirming pizza oven smell.

Best vegan pizza - Edit
Asked the owner which vegan pizza they would recommend. They suggested the creamy garlic mushroom. Also had a side of salsa and garlic mayo dips which were both vegan.
Read moreThe pizza was amazing, probably the best I have had. The quality of the ingredients, the base, the cheese substitute and dips were all amazing.
All the pizzas here are vegetarian and can easily be made vegan. My friend who is a meat eater loved the hackney hot which had pickled beetroot instead of pepperoni.
Great venue and amazing service.
Would recommend!

Super, super good pizzas. They could all easily be made vegan (zero fuss.) The crust is amazing as was the vegan cheese. They have some drinks on tap, along with a few cocktails, & soft drinks. The pizzas came quickly and were good cold later (leftovers.) Highly recommend a visit!

Hands down the best pizza I had in London plus they don't charge extra for swapping dairy for vegan cheese, and their vegan cheese are indistinguishable from dairy (at least for someone who hasn't eaten dairy in a while).

I had the Sloppy Joe pizza and it was very flavourful. Service was really quick and the staff were very nice! Hot chocolate was a bit on the spenny side but it was delightfully sweet 💯

Read moreThe macaroni cheeze was fantastic, with a crispy breadcrumb top and tonnes of flavour, but the pizza… oh wow! The best vegan pizza we’ve ever had. The cheese was great, and the beetroot on top was SO good. All in all really well balanced flavours and textures for both dishes.
Also a great selection of vegan marked wines including orange and skin contact wines, which is great to see.

Music was uncomfortably loud. The waitress was curt and unfriendly. The pizzas are too expensive. Didn't enjoy the coffee, was weak and watery. The food is creative and tasty. Some of the other staff were genuinely delighted to chat with and share information about the unique drinks and food on offer. The drinks menu is the highlight. The menu isn't clear and could be made simpler and easier to understand. I hope the place finds firmer feet but currently it seems like the staff are little too realized.

Delicious pizza, blend of base to toppings was perfect. As a vegan I just wish more of the pizza options could be vegan.

Love how they support other small-scale ultra local businesses as well as using organic flour, chemical free veg where possible and have sustainability at the core of what they do.
It's too expensive for me for more than an occasional treat, though would definitely treat myself again.
