Few vegan options - but very delicious

They only have few vegan options - but those were very delicious. We had the noodles and a very nice salad with Ishigaki tofu anf sesame dressing.

Few options available

It's quite hard to find vegetarian foodie at Ishigaki, Okinawa.. but shop staff are always friendly and willing to assists in identifying which can be eaten by vegetarian/vegan! This shop charges 300 yen (sgd $4) per pax as service charges.
I have ordered fried somen noodles which is yummy, soft tofu without bonito which is yummy too, seaweed and seagrapes. Seagrapes is interesting to try! It's a bit crunchy crunchy but not something that we managed to finish hahaha

Note: remember to make known that u are vegetarian/ vegan and what can be taken, what not, for them to assists better!

Pros: A few items, Staff are friendly to assists, Yummy fried somen

Cons: Pricy, Charged 300 yen per pax as service charge

Surprisingly good

I found this restaurant on the internet. I came here without any expectation to have any vegan food because I just like the environment here as the buildings are very traditional and it's nearby the sea. Out of my expectation, I found that there are vegan labels on the Chinese menu. I tried the bitter melon juice, green papaya salad and the noodles. The bitter melon juice comes with syrup which contains honey but you could just put them aside and not to consume it. Of course, without the syrup, it's a bit bitter. I think it's ok. The salad and noodles are great! The salad is with the sesame sauce. The noodles are with strong aroma and flavor of sesame oil. Soooo delicious that I must come back when I visit Ishigaki again. This place is very full. Must make a booking in advance.

Pros: Delicious food, Chinese and English menu available, Super nice environment

Cons: Must book in advance. Can't walk in.
