From the warm welcome to the decadent food, everything was perfection. I ordered the apple pancakes which were very yummy. I was originally apprehensive that only 2 pancakes would fill me, but it proved to be a hefty portion since they also fill a layer between pancakes with more apples and top with cashew cream cheese which was on the savory side to balance out the sweetness of the apples. I'll be back soon to try the sandwiches which looked scrumptious.

I opted for a macro balanced plate (Gal Tropical) and felt nourished.
Like that there were plant protein extras to add to any dish.
Loved the cosy seating, books to read (in Portuguese & English) ground and roast bean coffee to buy.

Cashew cheese toast was delicious and beautiful. Peanut butter chocolate banana pancakes were a mouthful. Great chocolate sauce, slightly stodgy pancakes. Cramped inside and out, but the outside tables are a very pleasant sitting experience.

GAL is a cute vegan cafe - we went for breakfast and wasn’t as impressed as we had hoped from the reviews. We took the metro up the hill and walked back. Food is relatively simple and tasty, nothing hugely amazing but nice to find a fully vegan place. We have had better vegan breakfasts closer to the town.

I visited this lovely Cafe multiple times during my stay in Lisbon. The atmosphere is relaxed, staff is friendly, just really liked the vibe. And of course the food :). Menu is quite extensive, from toast to croissants and from burgers to bowls. Lots of choice! I really liked the tosta mista so recommend that one. But to be honest everything I ate and drank was good, so you can't pick wrong.

Literally everything is so delicious there! I personally recommend banana and peanut butter pancakes - cause I’m weak for this combination 🥹 - and the croissant brioche misto. The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming, and the staff also really nice! Perfect spot for working, studying and meet up with friends 😊
