Get what you pay for - Edit
Years ago a french restaurant wouldn’t seat me as a vegan because they had “nothing to offer”. Today I had a 7 course vegan tasting menu from a French restaurant. How times have changed.
Read moreMichelin star food AND service. Will note that it is nearly all (seasonal) veg based, rather than any legumes. Still delicious.
We had a carafe of wine between two, and a coffee each, total came to £300.
Note - The sommelier told us that not all the paired wines are vegan, so be careful if you go down that route
Pros: 7 courses so good variety, Great quality, Very friendly and attentive service
Cons: Obviously not cheap, but worth it, It’s in Shoreditch 😂

One of a kind experience! - Edit
Not many Michelin star restaurants offer a vegan tasting menu -well, no others that I know of- and Galvin la Chapelle has set the bar high! We had gone in with an open mind but weren't sure what to expect from a restaurant that predominantly serves meat & fish dishes but ultimately we were left impressed with the flavour combinations that had been created from familiar ingredients and those less well known.
Read moreStaff were friendly and attentive. We'd made them aware beforehand that I was pregnant so that my glass of champagne was changed to a non-alcoholic cocktail. When we arrived they made sure we were happy with the ingredients on the menu, asking if there was anything I would like to replace or didn't want to eat during my pregnancy (I ate everything, but it was a lovely touch to be asked and have staff be so accommodating!). Delicious food, welcoming staff and exceptional service, all in a beautiful setting. Fantastic experience to gift to any vegan... Cannot fault in any way!

Amazing vegan tasting menu for a special occasion. - Edit
Definitely priced in the ‘special treat’ category, their 7-course vegan tasting menu was absolutely divine, with tastes I have never previously encountered. Service was attentive and well informed.

Amazing Fine Dining Vegan Options - Edit
They offer a fully vegan 7 course tasting menu which is some of the best food we've ever had. We've returned twice and bought vouchers for 4 family members. Amazing for a special occasion, and relatively cheap considering they hold a Michelin star. Definitely recommend. Top tip - they do a black Friday sale where you can buy gift vouchers for the vegan taster menu, if you buy in advance you can save some money!

Vegan fine dining at its best - Edit
As a treat, this restaurant is a fine dining experience that offers a vegan taster menu. I was gifted a Virgin Experience voucher from my work colleagues and the whole experience was first class from start to finish.

We had a super delicious and special tasting menu here! So impressed with the creativity and aesthetic appearance of the dishes. A point to note: if you receive a voucher for the menu from someone, you will still be charged a 12.5% service charge you need to pay. The service is great so it’s worth it though.

Incredible 7 course tasting menu - Edit
I was gifted this meal as a birthday present but my partner and I walked away saying we’d happily go again and pay for it. The service was impeccable, the food was like nothing I’ve tasted before. For a non-vegan restaurant it didn’t feel like any compromise had been made. Totally recommend.

Galvin La Chapelle - Edit
AMAZING Michelin star restaurant offering separate vegan and vegetarian menus. They also offer a veg*n tasting menus. Of all the Michelin restaurants in London offering vegan options, this is probably my favorite. They always offer a rotating vegan velouté and risotto, which I love. I am consistently blown away at how they make vegan versions of French food so delicious. Check out my photos, words just don’t do any justice here. 5 cow rating, IMO.
