Really nice vegan restaurant - Edit
This is a very cute restaurant serving delicious food such as pita with falafel or Japanese curry. The portions are really good, the staff does not necessarily speak English but is very keen on helping anyway and they are super friendly. They also have some products in the front of the restaurant but shame on my limited Japanese I do not know what exactly it was.

We had delicious lunch here - two different noodle soups. They were a tiny bit too rich for us but really yummy and super interesting.

I had the spicy curry noodle. Maybe a bit too spicy for me, not the best I had but it was good. Really loved the side dishes

Vegan macrobiotic lunch - Edit
On Oike-dori, at the corner of Shin-machi dori, GoMacro serves 3 vegan lunch specials: : a tasting platter, a veggie burger, a curry dish. Portions are reasonable and service is quick ; I liked the black and white sesame seeds with mortar and pestle at the table. There are also delicious -looking vegan desserts and drinks, and a small grocery and take out space with prepared foods at the entrance.

Great place to have lunch everything is full of flavour and very delicious. Menu is all vegan with a large variety of food. I’d advise getting there early as on my first attempt to go there it was too busy!

Rich flavoursome lunch - Edit
We had the sesame miso noodle soup set menu which included the rich and flavoursome soup, rice and some side dishes as well as dessert (chocolate mousse and a sesame tart) and coffee with soy milk on the side. Everything was tasty, the venue was nice and bright and staff were friendly. We would happily eat here again.

Mild, minimally spicy curry made with sesame seeds. - Edit
It’s definitely different from the common Japanese style curries. Very fragrant from all the sesame seeds they’ve used.

Fulfilling - Edit
The cafe is really cute and has around 14 seats and 5 bar seats. There isn’t a lot of privacy but enough to have a normal conversation. The toilets are really clean and very modern!
Read moreThe food was very light and balanced and was well prepared. It’s taste was nothing special but still very pleasing. The desserts however were magnificent, especially combined with the english tea which they offer.
You can pay 1.350 ¥ for a curry, salad, tea and dessert! It’s very reasonable for the quality and taste of the food you receive!
The staff was very attentive and kind.
All in all a very nice and welcoming experience which I can recommend to anyone.

Pretty Good - Edit
The food was tasty, I got the curry with a salad and a SMALL brownie dessert. My non-veg dad got a the parfait and really liked it. It was a bit pricey, my meal was ~¥1300. But you could take off the dessert and drink and get ¥1000 off the meals. The other meal was ~¥1800 and the desserts were around ~¥900. The place is nice and cozy; they also sell some small food stuff and offer take-out cup miso soup. They staff was also very nice and polite. I would go again 👍🏼

Japanese macro meal - Edit
Food here is pretty tasty and really fresh. My dining companion had a the sesame/miso curry which she really enjoyed, I had the mixed plate which comes with a stack of different pickles and mixed salads etc. The kinds of stuff you might see at market stalls but never try because you don’t trust there not to be animal product in them.

Great food at a decent price! - Edit
This was my favorite place to eat in Japan. The place's name is a play on words ("goma" is "sesame" in Japanese) so there is a big emphasis on sesame, which it turns out I love. We came here twice and each time ordered 3 meals for the two of us plus dessert. We had set that included lots of little things plus pasta and curry. (The serving sizes are fine, we just wanted to try more things!) When you order that much, it's definitely expensive, but if you order just one meal it's a pretty good price. There is also a restroom for customers with a Western-style toilet.
Read moreThey also have an area to purchase cookies and oils and things. We bought some sets of the sesame cookies + granola as omiyage to share with our family back home. Those went over well.
Pros: Delicious variety of food, English menu, restroom available

Amazing! - Edit
This place had amazing food and lovely staff and atmosphere. It was quite busy while we were there, but no one seemed to wait long for their meals. High focus on sesame flavouring in most of the food, so if you love that (which I do) you will be set. 3 main set options, one rice and veggies, one pasta based and the third a curry.
Read morePros: Really lovely food, Sets have a drink and dessert additional option, Can buy condiments to take away
