Lovely & Unique Food! - Edit
I had the pesto sandwich, and mom had the mushroom risotto! For dessert we split the fudge brownie cake with house made vanilla gelato! Loved everything and will hopefully be coming back soon. I also did not notice the fish smell that others mentioned, however all vegan food and fish is a strange combo (perhaps to appease the meat eating friends and family of us veggie lovers!).

Really yummy food, lovely staff! - Edit
We had the cold beet soup (like borscht), and it was divine. There were chunks of cold cucumber, dill & cashew cream. The pureed cauliflower soup was good, but nothing special. The buffalo cauliflower bites were great, with a milder hot sauce for dipping. We split the "crab"cake sandwich with sweet potato fries and the vegan caesar salad, which were quite good, although the fries seemed to be baked—healthier for sure, but a little disappointing. We were so full we had to get dessert to go, and we were glad we did! We chose the fudgy brownie cake with date-hazelnut crust. It was really amazing! Our server was super friendly and helpful, and the owner was delightful. We were very happy with this vacation choice!

The Curry was excellent and veggies were perfectly cooked. The sweet potato beet lasagne was absolutely amazing! New Cape May Favorite - Edit
Being Pescaterians, who are gluten and dairy free, my husband and are were overwhelmed with choices. Everything is fresh, well prepared, flavorful and served nicely presented. Strict vegans would have plenty of choices too. In Season you should definitely make reservations, it's small. The owner said generally they open in March and close in November.

Healthy, homemade - Edit
Obviously wish they didn’t serve fish, but I actually didn’t notice the smell that other people are mentioning. Their food is fresh and healthy — sometimes could use a little extra seasoning though. Loved their coffee — it’s very different and tasty! Nice server.

Yah, the smell actually isn't fish. But it is strong. And consistent. It's spices.

Tasty and plentiful vegan options - Edit
Nice place, food is 100% organic, with about 75% of the options being vegan. The server presented the place as a menu all plant based with no dairy, eggs, “or meat” then added that they serve fish. (I decided not argue the point). Other reviews have mentioned the fragrant fish smell, it’s real. Didn’t bother us enough not to eat there, which was great because the vegan food is quite good. Unfortunately, when we got home we noticed our clothing STANK of fish.

Vegan + fish is a very unfortunate combination - Edit
We went in there twice and the smell of fish was overpowering. The first time we just turned around and left, and the second time we went in just to get some gelato to go. We couldn’t wait to leave, our stomachs were churning. It’s a small place so the smell is strong everywhere. I hate to leave an unfavorable review for a place that offers (reportedly) good vegan food, but I’m not coming back again. They describe themselves as “vegan but also serve fish”... well, you’re not really a vegan restaurant then.

Great option for vegans - Edit
We are vegan, so Good Earth gets 5 stars for offering various great vegan options and then also mainly for our server with the beret (I think his name may have been Tony). He was awesome, and we even saw him outside the restaurant on other days, and he was so fun then too. We also told family members to go here, and they loved it and loved him too.

great place with lots of choice - Edit
One of the best places in the area for vegetarians. Most of the menu is vegan and organic. Food is tasty and well done. I liked that my curry was not swimming in sauce so each vegetable tasted different and could be enjoyed.

vegan except fish...wtf - Edit
The gelatos are Vegan and so good. It's a nice place. I likes it but even after telling the waitress/owner I was vegan she began to tell me about how they locally source the dead fish they serve. Um I'm vegan, I don't want to hear about that. It's sad no matter how you get them.

food took forever to come out... they barely apologized. and the waitress didn't tell us that they only take cash... so be ready to use an atm you have to pay for. Food was super good though.

Creative offerings for vegans and vegetarians - Edit
This small restaurant offers a wonderful selection of vegan and vegetarian meals. The chef is from Italy and spices dishes in a unique and flavorful manner using fresh herbs. The location is modest, but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent. They also have fish dishes if you are joined by a nonvegetarian. I would recommend making reservations since there are very few tables. The location is shared by a homemade ice cream shop that offers several vegan flavors.

Amazing food! - Edit
We ate here for dinner one night and then lunch the next and the food is amazing. As it is described, it is vegan with fresh fish; we ate all vegan and it was just delicious. The gnocchi with the vegan sauce was great; I had the mixed veggie's of the day and the risotto was sooooo good.
Read moreYou have to order the bruschetta for an appetizer. 4 different spreads on fresh bread, the garlic and the lima bean hummus were my favorite.
For lunch the next day we had a lima bean hummus sandwich and sunflower seed pesto pasta, both were amazing.
We are definitely planning to come back here every time we are in the area.
The max rating for non-veg restaurants is 4 cows, I think that's ridiculous. This is way better than pretty much every vegan restaurant I've eaten at.
Pros: Delicious, Original meals, Homemade

Great little cafe - Edit
We found this cafe on Happy Cow and are happy to write them a nice review! It was exciting to see another option for us in Cape May. My husband and I both had their nut spread sandwich on homemade bread for lunch. They grated fresh carrots on to it and sliced up the bread right there. And it came with a salad which was so fresh and tasty. We felt like we were in someone's home kitchen and they were making everything from scratch right before our eyes, very cool ! We also got to sample some of the vegan ice cream they sell from Bliss Ice Cream. So yummy!

A little pricey but great! - Edit
A great place in cape may! Went with my boyfriend for dinner and we had such a great meal. I got the vegetarian plate, which was vegan, and he got fish. He said the fish was fantastic. The vegetarian plate was incredible! It was a lot of food, it came with soup and a salad and steamed greens and a risotto, and black beans. Luckily I was starving haha. It was all delicious and really fresh. I think it would be neat if she maybe individually priced the items on the vegetarian plate so if you were less hungry you could just get a couple of the things and then price it as a whole meal also. We got vegan mint chocolate chip icecream for dessert and it was also phenomenal. Like I said a little bit pricey, mine was 17 and my boyfriends was 19 but it was a nice night out...and my grandmom has given us cash to go get dinner haha.
