I have wanted to go to Total Vegan Indian Restaurant for a long time. Today we were kind of in the area. It's just a 32-minute detour, and I am sooooo glad we went! Total Vegan Indian Restaurant was AMAZING! We ordered the Veggie Samosa, Mushroom Manchurian, Combo Briyanai, Aloo Gobi, and Nann Bread.
Read moreThe samosa was obviously homemade and perfectly fried. Not too dark and not too light. Hands down, it is the best samosa I have ever had. The mushroom manchurian was seasoned perfectly, and I could taste the flavor; this has not been my experience at other Indian restaurants. The combo biryani was so good and clearly scratch-made. While I really liked it, the mushrooms were my favorite part. So next time, I will get the mushroom biryani. My husband devoured the allo gobi and declared it the best he has ever had! (he did the same with the samoas. And the nann, oh, it was so nice to eat nann again!
The staff was attentive but not overbearing. It's just perfect, like the food. And the place was SPOTLESS!!!!
For the next few months, we will be driving between Central Park and Castle Rock on a few Saturdays each month. On those days, we happily take the 32-minute detour to eat at Total Vegan Indian Restaurant. It is the best Indian food I have ever had!
Pros: Food was amazing, Attentive staff, Super clean. I mean SPOTLESS
Cons: Nothing. The place was amazing!

Best Indian food in town - Edit
Total Vegan Indian Restaurant is a welcome addition to the Denver Metro scene. It offers an extensive menu of northern Indian standards, plus creative dishes such as a kale and eggplant creation.
Read moreThe veggie vindaloo, mushroom mattar, samosas, and garlic nan are all recommendable.
One improvement they could make is to offer brown rice as healthier alternative to the white rice that comes with most of the main dishes.
Service was warm and helpful.

Excellent new indian restaurant. Shared momos and mushroom/tofu vindaloo (hot) for lunch with chai tea. Momos were excellent - steamed, not fried. Vindaloo was beautifully spiced and chai tea was awsome. Can't wait to return and try other dishes. Don't ask for hot unless you like it very spicy!

This is a wonderful little gem that I wish we had in Pennsylvania! My nephew, and I shared the samosas, garlic, naan, and the tiki marsala. It was more than enough for the two of us. I enjoyed a nice glass of Pinot Grigio at a reasonable rate. I would return without a second thought, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic flavors, most of the serving sizes on the small side for price. Except the combo rice (exact name escapes me) was quite large and also really good flavors. I am not usually a fan of Indian food, but will definitely go back here when in the area.

There’s table service. WONDERFUL servers. There were so many great things on the menu that I haven’t had in sooo long since going vegan! We overheard a table nearby who said they go to all the Indian restaurants in town and that this one is, hands down, the best. We agreed!!

The best full vegan Indian place! - Edit
We love having a whole vegan menu to choose from. We enjoyed everything we ate here, we had the veggie samosa, korma, saag, and tikka masala with rice, roti, and poori (fried puffy whole wheat bread). We ordered korma with fried tofu and potatoes, it was creamy and aromatic. We enjoyed the saag and tikka masala as well, but the korma was our favorite. I really liked the poori, though it was a little greasy, it made for a flavorful vehicle in mopping up all the sauces. Service was excellent! We spoke with the co-owner and connected about veganism and why it’s important to us ❤️ We brought leftovers home and I’m very excited to stuff my face again! We will be telling all our friends about our new favorite Indian spot and we can’t wait to come back again.

Easily the fastest and most courteous service I've ever gotten in an Indian restaurant, all the food was top notch and the waiting staff made me feel very welcome.

The coconut Saag was incredibly smooth with a delightful texture and the mushrooms were perfect in there.
The Khatta Bindhi was a great flavor profile with a beautiful color palette and tasted great.
The chai was flavorful and robust, a nice earthy flavor.
We live in castle rock but it's well worth the trip to visit this place

My wife (meat eater) and i took our 2 year old twins here for a lunch date. We ordered the vegetable korma which was incredible! I ordered the two protein saag with tofu and eggplant, medium spice level (next time I’ll do hot hot!) and she ordered tikka masala (mild) with cauliflower and sweet potato. She’s never had it vegan and said it was delicious and she could only taste a tiny bit difference. We also ordered the gf bread which our girls loved “dipping”.

The employees were really nice- oh and the girls loved the mango juice and i highly recommend the chai!
We’ll definitely be bringing the family again!
**Ps- My only cons are that they won’t let you accumulate awards unless you order online- which seems really unfair, especially since they didn’t tell me until after we ordered. You should be able to accumulate awards no matter how you order, and it feels weird having to order online from our table.

My husband and I have only been here once so far, but we will definitely be back! The food was delicious, the interior of the restaurant is clean and beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. We started with veggie samosas, which were some of the best I've ever had. They were quite large and were served piping hot with mint and tamarind chutneys. For our entrees, I got the Nariyel Kofta (ordered mild) and my husband got the Tikka Masala with tofu and mushrooms (ordered spicy). Both were delicious, although I had to take my husband's word for it on the Tikka Masala because I have an extremely low spice tolerance. I really appreciated that the "mild" spice level was actually mild. So, if you like heat, definitely order your dish medium or spicy. I like that they have an option for "build your own" where you can pick your sauce with your choice of two proteins and/or veggies. Also, even though it is a fast-causal restaurant, one of the staff members came by while we were eating to make sure everything was to our liking. I can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

We’ve picked up takeout from here a few times and it’s great. Really enjoy the samosas and tikka masala with tofu, veggies, and sweet potatoes. My only gripe is the mild is way too mild, lacks any spice whatsoever. Medium is perfect for me. I will also say the prices are very competitive, much cheaper than nearby Indian places.

My husband and I both absolutely loved this place! We tried the Tikka Masala with tofu and veggie mix and Korma with tofu and mushrooms, and both were wonderful! It was so nice to see another fully vegan restaurant in the area, and we were not disappointed in the least when we tried it out. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian food. We will be back for sure!

This new vegan restaurant did not disappoint! The food was delicious on every count! They are spot on with spicy levels. The food is incredibly flavorful; there's hardly any wait time to get your food; and the staff is incredibly helpful and very friendly!
