O restaurante oferece duas opções de combos, todos eles podem ser alterados para se tornarem veganos. Eu pedi meio combo dos dois para poder experimentar. Tudo estava bem gostoso. O doce de banana com açúcar mascavo também é vegano. Até mesmo a bebida que dão antes da refeição tem opção sem mel, que eles já trazem se vc avisa que eh vegano

I really liked the food at the restaurant. There are usually two "combinados" (a kind of "combo") available, and each one has a vegan option. The "combo" also includes a vegan dessert (heavenly banana, there may be more than one option, so it's worth checking with the waitress). I felt expensive the “combo”, the service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant.
Read moreGostei bastante da comida do restaurante. Normalmente são dois “combinados” (uma espécie de “combo”) disponíveis, e cada um deles tem uma opção vegana. No “combinado”, também tem uma sobremesa vegana (banana celestial, podendo ter mais de uma opção, daí é interessante consultar a atendente) inclusa. Achei caro o combo (R$ 62,00 por cabeça em dez/2023), o atendimento é bom e o ambiente é agradável.

Deve fazer quase 20 anos que frequento. Tanta coisa mudou, até o nome, e agora o endereço… Mas o Gulab segue sendo o vegetariano que mais gosto em São Paulo. A conversão dos pratos para a opção vegana é simples e eficiente.

Vou ha anos no Gulab e sempre indico pelo carinho como as coisas são feitas. Todos os dias são oferecidos duas opções de combinados, e ambos tem a versão vegana, no caso de uma delas ter algo lacto. A feijoada é uma que sempre ganha meu coração. Refeição bem servida, e se pode pedir porções extras como acréscimo.

One of my favorites in São Paulo - Edit
Gulab Hari is a low-profile, great vegetarian Indian restaurant that offers two menu options a day (salad as a starter, main course, dessert and natural juice) in two different sizes (whole portion or half-sized), both also always available in a vegan version. The food is delicious, carefully prepared, spiced but not really hot. Honest food, delicious, without a fuss, in a modest but charming environment. It's one of my favorites in the city. Arrive early to avoid a long queue.

For a fixed price (something about R$36,00 on week days and R$43,00 on saturdays), you can choose one dish from the daily menu (that has two each day) or both of them (half and half), plus a salad, a dessert (only two vegan options: "banana celestial" or fruits) and a beverage (juice).

I like Indian spices so to me the food was quite tasty. For my wife they served a vegan version of the meal. Only for a vegetarian restaurant the price was a bit high for the amount of / type of food. There is only option A and option B and the price is like R$15 higher than some all you can eat restaurants in SP which have way more different dishes to choose from.

Read moreThe place is welcoming decorated with hot colors, flowers and paitings. You can sit on the ground, above pillows, or at a normal table.
The food is indian, a la carte. It's open from monday to saturday. The menu changes on saturdays according to the number of the day (odd or even). There're two options everyday, but you can choose for a mix.
Ex: Option 1 - Whole grain rice, 'Dahl' peas and tofu with herbs;
Option 2 - Vegetarian lasagna and 'alu patra';
"Option 3" - Half od option 1 and half of option 2.
There's also dessert and natural juice.
The taste is amazing, some really spice, it's a nice place to explore flavours. Besides, is easy to get there, near Avenida Paulista (therefore near the subway and bus stations).

I think this is a review of Gopala Madhava, not Gopala Hari! Madhava has the cushions and flowers, Hari does not.
