Fantastic paella

Had a reservation (Saturday night). They were turning people away without reservations, even though it wasn't busy (at 6:00).
We shared the vegan paella. Yes, it was kind of pricy (€42), but it was presented with much fanfare, and cooked to perfection! I make plenty of paella at home, and it is really difficult to get the socarrat just the right amount of crispy (not watery or burnt). They did a great job, unlike the one we had in Toledo a few days ago (soggy).
I saw some reviews about service, and poor service can easily ruin a meal. We had no problems today. Everyone was really nice!
Also, they had vegan empanadas and brownies in their trophy case at the counter.

Pros: Tasty paella, Friendly staff

Cons: A little expensive for the paella

Go for paella

So i always wanted to try paella in spain, the occasions when I’ve been offered authentic paella (when I travelled for for work purposes and this was the social dinner following meetings) it was pre-ordered with meat, so I never had the chance. I’m fortunately travelling with friends, and was hungry I saw paella on some menus, and decided to do a search, Gusto came up. I read on the menu that paella takes 30-50 minutes to make and are for a minimum of 2 people (these are the signs spaniards told me to look for when ordering, paella, real paella takes time, and is a social dish). So I came in earlier than my friends and made the order, service was friendly, and when the paella came (which after chatting with friends felt like an instant), it was DELICIOUS.
You can tell it was slow cooked, the vegetables were roated so the peppers melted off the stem, the flavour was deep like vegetables. I can recommend. I’m happy i waited and looked for a good place for paella.
I see there are some bad reviews for the snacks, I had some appetisers -which were ok, but i noticed pricier than usual for spain, but they did gives olives and bread while waiting. So if you come here, really come for the paella. I was surprised to have such a good meal so close to a tourist destination, but ok, I can recommend.

Pros: Authentic (slow Paella), Friendly service, Good food in a good locatio

Nice option in convenient location in Santa Cruz right next to the cathedral

Staff was friendly. A few vegetarian / vegan options (not so easy to come by in this region). I had the spinach and chickpeas balls and they were pretty good. They list ingredients and have a symbol for vegetarian and gluten free options, so you can probably trust they know what that means and don’t hide meat in there.

Pros: Some actual veggie / vegan options, Ingredients listed with a vegan symbol, Friendly and efficient staff

Vegan options, friendly staff

The card contains a number of vegetarian and vegan tapas and plates, including delicious chickpea balls, grilled green peppers, and bread with tomato salsa. Salad can be adjusted to vegan. I didn’t try the vegan paella, but it looked great.

The restaurant has a nice ambiance and very friendly stuff. Relatively pricy though.

Appreciate the effort, but...

Everyone says the vegan paella is great. The thing is, they only sell it for two. So I couldn't have it (my brother is not vegan and wanted to have seafood). There are few options. The bread with tomato sauce as an entree is really good, but I also ordered the moussaka and it was quite plain. Just some aubergines with lentils, curry flavor, small portions and a bit pricey.
Such a shame I couldn't order the paella.

Pros: The bread!

Cons: Some plates are not available for one person , Could have better options, The bathroom (women) was unavailable

Overpriced!!

I had the chickpea meatballs. For six balls and a small drizzle of sauce I paid 18 euros! And it did not fill me up at all, it felt more like an appetizer. And the staff was also quite rude, presenting me the check before I even finished my drink.

Pros: Tasted fine

Cons: Expensive , Rude staff

The staff made us feel uncomfortable

We had dinner here and tried the vegan paella for two.

The service was by far the worst I've ever experienced. The woman gave the impression that she was being forced to serve us. Everything was done listlessly and she was unfriendly to us.
She managed to make us feel unwell and want to leave as quickly as possible. I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but at least I want to feel comfortable while eating.

The taste of the paella was good, but the portions were far too small in relation to the price and service. Neither of us were full.

I definitely can't recommend the restaurant!

Cons: Worst service ever, Too pricey for the quality

Overpriced, not worth it!

Got the hummus toast for breakfast which was 7 euros so you think you're going to get a proper sandwich for 7 euros. What I got was a piece of toast with less than a teaspoon of hummus on it, 3 pieces of halved cherry tomatoes and a pile of rocket to cover up the fact there was nothing on this sandwich! Really disappointing breakfast. The waiters were also super unfriendly. Kept saying 5mins/one second everytime we tried getting their attention and then walked away to have a chat with the other waiters... Definitely would not go back here. Avoid at all costs.

Just OK!

Would not rush here if you are veggie. Better places within 15 min walk. Overpriced for what you got the spinach&chick pea meatballs with curry sauce was very disappointing. It’s next to cathedral so is going to be pricey!

A must go in Seville, they never let me down.

This is my favorite place in Seville. I was looking for some plant-based foods after a long day and I found them. In the following 4 days I came back everyday for what they have and offer here. Foods taste amazing, all of them. "Oasis of vegetables" looked cute and small but it was incredibly fresh and tasty with the quinoa. Not a big portion but it was just perfect. Italian burrata with Torta de Ines Rosales was my favorite, extremely presentable and satisfying. Spinach and chickpea meatballs was not a big portion but surprisingly good. It matched so well with the coconut milk and curry sauce - the freshness came from the kitchen to my table straight away and it was beyond my expectations. Vegan moussaka is really fulfilling, I enjoy the flavor so much! Not to mention the paellas, it is a must-try. The smell catches my appetite instantly. They really make great great foods and every bite will be so pleasant. They also serve amazing starters, desserts, and drinks. I would just let them choose for me and I was thinking of their Torrija, cherry liqueurs and their white wine every day after I left. Extremely friendly service and adorable people. I met Lope on my first day of arrival and he was bringing me new suggestions about foods, desserts and drinks everyday. Gusto is a must go in Seville and THEY WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!!!! #Veganuary

Pros: All foods I tried for 4 days, Friendly service , Great location
