I was really impressed by the vegan selection. There were plenty of options to choose from, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious.

Always a vegan-saver

Love to the Haferkater at train stations. There are always vegan options and you can also get good hot drinks with plant milk. I love it!

Food is always good and great packed for your trip.

No seats available, only a small train store.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options

Many vegan choices!

Haferkater is a German franchise. Like this one, most of them are within main stations, so that you can grab some food for your train journey or for a quick snack in between. Some "Haferkater" have seating, but this one hasn't.
"Hafer" means "oats", and they specialise in porridge with creative toppings. But you can also get wraps and sandwiches, bowls, a salad and cake, and coffee. I have tried all of their vegan porridges and love them all. The two vegan wraps (falafel and ceasar) are also very very good, but way too small - thus on the pricy side, because you actually need two when you're hungry. Anyway, I definitely recommend this place!
