Food is alright but only one choice

Vegetarian choices have only left only one cold soba choice. Not like what was mentioned in the past.

Food was good!

There were more Japanese patrons than locals when I was there. That's a sign that the food is authentic and good.

Pros: Quite a few vegetarian and vegan options

Nice soba option

Glad to see vegetarian options. Ordered herbal soba. Not bad. Like the fried tofu. Though could have been better with more ingredients for that price.

Handmade soba

Handmade soba veg option in the CBD. Vegetarian items are clearly indicated on the menu. The herbal vegetable hot soba has a very strong herbal taste to it (no alliums). The cold Daikon Oroshi soba came with spring onions even though we checked with the counter that the dishes do not contain onion/garlic (those that do not take alliums do specifically request to omit spring onions when ordering). Other than the egg topping which we had added on, the dishes seem to be vegan friendly as well (but vegans please confirm prior to ordering). Overall a good japanese vegetarian option in the CBD.

Hi. Any idea whether there will be no cross contamination eg same pot used to cook meat is used for vegetarian menu?

No idea, haven't visited them recently. It is best to check with the staff before ordering.
