Vegan friendly en lekker eten - Edit
Hier gegeten nadat we havezate oldengaerde hadden bezocht. Vegan opties stonden duidelijk op de kaart aangegeven en eten zag er goed verzorgd uit en porties zijn mooi groot waardoor je goed vol zit en voldaan kunt vertrekken.

Delicious vegan food, it was quite busy but very friendly and quickly served. Vegan was not a problem at all, both on the menu and because of the recommendations. We had the curry and the wrap, both delicious. Curry is highly recommended!

It was a nice experience to dinner at this restaurant. The staff was very kind, they offered a chair for little children for my little nephew and my little nephew could play in a room with all kinds of toys. Also they had blankets for the colder weather. I ordered the vegan wrap and it was very tasty. The crust was crunchy and the inside was spicy, but not to much. Also the guacamole was very creamy. I would like to come back here 😊

Fijne ontvangst door een enthousiaste gastheer. Speelde gelijk in op het moment dat hij hoorde dat ik vegan eet. Kreeg een broodje dat nog niet op de kaart stond. Erg lekker. De tomatensoep was ook lekker, wel beetje spicy.

Been here three times now and always had enjoyable and friendly interactions with the people working here. Love having some vegan options in this small town.
Read moreThey changed their vegan options on the menu. They have a quinoa salad, a beans and sweet potatoe wrap and a mushroom stew. As an appetizers, they offer some vegan 'bitterballen'.
Hope they'll add a vegan dessert in the future. :)

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Ik had een vegan burger met brood. Hij was lekker en verzorgd. Bij de patat vegan mayo, allemaal goed. Ik twijfelde of de gebakken aardappels vegan was. Mijn man had een vlees gerecht die ook mee at met de aard.

Bij de koffie kreeg ik een melk chocolaatje. 😳
De bediening werd door veel vriendelijke mensen gedaan. Daardoor geen zicht op deze vegan klant.

I had the vegan salad with apple, beet, nuts, selery, tomato and taugé. It was a nice salad and very big. On the terrace you could sit under the trees.

A nice vegan salad also with some roasted nuts. A vegan burger (not sure if bread is also vegan). I had the salad. Maybe the groentekroket in the menu was vegan but it was not specified . Staff was polite when i asked more info. Nice terrace, relax environment.

Great place to eat - Edit
It's hard to find a restaurant that offers vegan food in this part of the Netherlands. Dwingeloo is not only a lovely town and worth a visit, this restaurant is very atmospheric with its sheltered garden and great vegan food. I tried the burger, which was very good (and large). They also have a vegan entree (something with mushrooms), a salad, and curry as a main, and sorbet for desert. If you're going out to eat in this area, this is definitely the place for an informal meal.
