Wonderful food - Edit
I really miss Holy Cow now I no longer live in Edinburgh, theirs is some of the best vegan food I've ever had! The menu is always really inventive and every meal I've had there has always been just a little bit special. There is always a great selection of cakes too.

Very nice place - Edit
I loved the atmosphere. The staff was very nice. And the food we tried was good. One thing that isn't great in my opinion is that there are very few dishes on the menu. Also, the desserts were good, but, to be honest, I was expecting them to be amazing, and they were just pretty good. I would like to go back and try some of the other things they have.

Vegan Sanctuary in Scotland - Edit
Vegetables! Fresh vegetables! What a treat to have a big salad (thai salad) after having lots of fried foods. It was delicious! My mom had a sandwhich and it was huge and very satisfying. I wish we had stopped eating sooner because we had np room for dessert! Next time! The food arrived SO fast and staff were lovely!

Great brunch! - Edit
I got the full vegan breakfast and was impressed by the addition of tempeh and tofu scramble, which I don’t often see in vegan breakfasts! There was so much food but at £16.50 I would have been disappointed by any smaller portion! The staff were lovely and the café is a perfectly cosy size.

Lovely breakfast in a fantastic location - Edit
Went here last Friday to get breakfast. We chose the "full vegan breakfast" which is basically a traditional English breakfast, veganized. It was really good! Especially loved the scrambled tofu and the beans. The chai latte I ordered was also great.

Overrated and burnt - Edit
Customer service was nice. But the food was nothing special and was overpriced for what it was. Some of the breakfast was inedible due to not being able to break it apart or bite into it due to being overcooked. Really disappointed as I had this on my list to try while in Edinburgh😒

Worth a stop - Edit
Stopped here right after our flight got in for a full vegan breakfast. Scrambled tofu was a bit creamier than I like, but all still delicious. Came for a second time for a late night cake (banoffee and NY Cheesecake).

Great staff! I got the Reuben sandwich that comes with a side of salad, loved the homemade kimchi inside. I also liked the fries I stole from my friends, tasty but didn’t taste too oily neither.

A good vegan full English breakfast is hard to find, and getting one in the afternoon is even harder. They have a gluten free version as well. Great burgers and sandwiches too, and nice staff, so highly recommended!

Tricky to find, but worth it! - Edit
This sweet Vegan cafe is tucked onto the backside of its building so not visible from the street. There were small, laminated signs to follow. I was intrigued by the full Scottish style breakfast served all day, but went with the King Oyster mushroom burger and wasn’t disappointed. I heard other guests ordering soup of the day, which was mushroom, and that also sounded so good! Because I had spent the morning climbing Arthur’s Seat and then walked to Holy Cow, maybe a mile and change- I was so hungry and managed to then finish off a generous slice of Red Velvet cake, which was served with berries on top.
