Fab lunch - Edit
I’ve known Maggie for a long time from doing lots of markets together, and she’s always been great with consistently solid vegan options.
Read moreI went for rice with three toppings — supergreens, chickpea masala, and plantain. Everything had a really nice balance of flavours, and it’s a great introduction to Tanzanian food if you haven’t tried it before.
There are plenty of vegan choices too, which is always a big plus.

Delicious, lots of vegan options - Edit
The food here is incredible and actually a large proportion of the menu is vegan. Really fresh and delicious, made from good ingredients, flavoursome and spicy. Pick up a takeaway or you can eat in which is nice too. Great service and very quick.

Worth a visit - Edit
Tasty food, but beware of chicken on the menu (!) Waitress didn’t seem to know what vegan was (not an issue, as whoever had written the menu board seemed to have more of a clue) so don't assume they'll automatically click you as needing a vegan diet.

Pros: Fresh, Friendly, Not too pricey
Cons: Small-ish helpings, Waitress offered me non-vegan Maltesers

Must try! - Edit
Amazingly fresh and flavourful food in a really welcoming environment. Only Tanzanian restaurant I know of in Edinburgh and any challengers would be hard pressed to even compete!
