Seasonal opening from October-April. Vegetarian restaurant run by Swiss and Indian team. Focus of the menu is authentic European cuisine. Offers several vegan options. Has semi-indoor seating (roof but no walls) and tables under the sky and palm trees, all of which have views of the ocean. Relaxed atmosphere. Closed May-September.

Small portions but nice ambiance. - Edit
There is an Italian bias to the menu which works well. The salads are good, as is the hummas. The pitta breads are very tough and might take out a filling if you're not careful! We returned here three of four ties in our stay. There are choices for vegans and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's all veggie. No puddings for vegans on any night that we visited.

Very few vegan options, but otherwise great - Edit
The location and ambience of Home are so appealing that we would've had nearly every meal here during our stay in Patnem, were it not for two issues: (1) it's pricey by Indian standards (though the location warrants it), and (2) there were really only 2 or 3 items suitable for our vegan diets (and they didn't always do well with veganizing other dishes).
Read moreWe wound up eating here several times anyway, especially at sunset, and usually had the one pasta dish that they could dependably do vegan (a penne dish that, IIRC, had "Mediterranean" in the name). We were also told that the bread used in the bruschetta is vegan.
Great views of the beach, uncommonly good service (well-trained and pleasant), and generally effective music selections at reasonable volume.
In short, if you're vegan or on a tight budget, Home is recommendable as an occasional treat. Others may enjoy going more often. We would've eaten here more often if it had been more vegan-friendly.
Personally, we wound up renting a scooter and having many of our meals at Blue Planet in Agonda (also on HappyCow), which has a much better selection of vegan and healthy foods.
Pros: Great spot & ambience, 1 good vegan pasta dish, good service
Cons: very few vegan items, relatively expensive
