You’ll have to check it out

I took my mom to Chef's Counter earlier this month and we were both blown away. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but it was so worth it. Chef Max is a genius! Each one of the seven courses was a culinary delight!

What a treat!

Got the chance to try their food truck outside of artifact brewery in Hatboro. Check out Hoser’s instagram for their schedule of where to find them. The food did not disappoint! On the menu were tacos and street corn. 3 different vegan vegan taco options and hard to pick a favorite. The tofu was so crispy I loved it. Also had the street corn made vegan which was awesome. Really hoping to do the chefs counter experience soon but until then so pumped to have access to a vegan food truck, life is good.
Stop by the market at Chestnut Hill and you can have their season menu anytime you want no need to track down truck!!

Update: I have done the chef’s counter experience and it will change your life. Bucket list vegan meal. Seven courses. Intimate setting. Awesome special occasion, anniversary, or date night experience. Treat yourself you deserve it!!

Amazing flavors

The food here is incredible! Really complex, pleasing flavors and textures. I have especially enjoyed the pierogies, felafel and Kentucky fried hen of the woods. Their menu changes seasonally. Even the simple dishes are loaded with flavor! Amazing to have such a gem at a nearby market.

Pros: Almost everything is vegan, Flavorful and beautifully conceptualized dishes, Seasonal menu

Cons: Not much protein, Only open a few days a week

A diamond in the rough

Chef Max is awesome! We loved when he just did the food truck, his General Tso Tofu is outstanding. Though, now that he has a brick and mortar spot, the chef table is like nothing else!

7 course meal that will have your taste buds singing, always fresh, and seasonal. The chef table is a great date night idea, and even your omnivore friends will be taken away with the dishes.

Pros: Super friendly , Chef table

A delightful find (and a must visit) in Germantown

Was in Philly to visit friends for the weekend. After a short stroll through Gernmantown, we stopped at the Market at the Fareway for lunch.

Our friends recently discovered Hoser’s and wanted us to try their vegetarian tacos. Because of the rotating, seasonal menu, Hoser’s had a completely different offering. We ordered the French onion soup, mushroom stew, brussel sprouts, and pierogies. Everything was delicious and satisfying. The standout was the soup; it had a deep, dark, caramel flavor that was comforting against the nor’easter snow falling.

Hoser’s was such a delightful find with its quality food and incredible flavors. With the addition to HappyCow, I hope more people discover and support this place.

Not pictured: really yummy chocolate chip cookies. (was too excited for dessert and gobbled it all up before I could take a snap)
