Great food, affordable and good portions - Edit
Communication was a but of a struggle but with translating apps we managed to order! They didn’t have some of the dishes and it turned out great because the portions were way bigger than we thought. Would definitely go again!

Great service! Tasty food - Edit
The menu is all in Chinese with a few English translations on the images, you order through an iPad and pay at the end. We ordered two rice, the Sichuan noodles, sweet n sour ribs and the tofu with seaweed & potatoes. This came to 140 yuan which is great value! All confirmed as vegan😄we were given hot water to drink with our meal. The restaurant felt fancy but casual and it's on the Michelin list! Would visit again in Beijing!

Lovely and lots of vegan options - Edit
The staff didn't speak English but we managed to order all vegan with translation apps. The food was lovely and really well priced. We paid £33 for 3 drinks and maybe 6-7 dishes

Excellent food - Edit
Delicious food beautifully presented and prepared. The dessert especially was made with great attention to detail, both in taste and appearance. If you don't speak Chinese you are mostly guessing when ordering by tablet as the menu is in Chinese only. One staff member spoke English but he was very busy. We had three dishes, all delicious. The fried green leaves (I am guessing Thai-basil) and lotus root dish was amazing, I have never seen this before. Boiled peanuts and vinegar were also good. The mixed vegetable dish had many huge plum-shaped chillies - if you don't like it too spicy, take care. I ate one and it was quite an experience. All in all a lovely meal.

Ristorante perfetto - Edit
Ottimo ristorante vegano/vegetariano, con ampissima scelta di piatti tipicamente cinesi. L'unica difficoltà è l'assenza di un menù in inglese quindi vi consiglio di avere un app di traduzione.

Very interesting area to walk around - Edit
Not the restaurants fault, but we had trouble with the menu as there was no English/ingredients listed and the staff that night didn't speak any English but we got there in the end and had the wraps that the previous reviewer recommended, similar to traditional duck pancakes but with scrambled chinese seasoned tofu which were nice enough plus some dumplings which were nice also but a bit dry. Flavours were good but not exciting like most other restaurants here. Great area though, talk a walk down the "ghost" street at night, it's very vibrant and full of 24 hours restaurants. Great for people watching and enjoying the vibe.
Read morePros: Location, ghost street is fun to walk around, thank you for having vegan options, easy to find
Cons: flavours a bit bland, difficult to work out what's vegan on menu

nice food / vegan options - Edit
They have vegan options. You have to ask for no egg/milk etc and specify.
Read moreBut it works. I got showed some dishes and also could chose and ask for dishes if they are vegan. And I had the feeling that I was understood.
The food was very good!
One problem is that paying with VISA didn’t work.
So I went with the waiter to an ATM, she accompanied me what was nice.
Next problem - with no reason my card was swallowed by the ATM.
I then managed to pay via Wechat after registration process.
Got the card back the next day.
They then gave me a takeaway bag with a nice tea (in the restaurant).
Staff is really friendly and helpful as good as possible.
Prices are ok - some dishes are really good at the price / they also have more fancy stuff which is a little more pricy.
Hot water for free.

Lovely vegetarian choice in Beijing - Edit
Blossom Vegetarian offers vegetarian and vegan food (milk or egg products are always described) with a nice atmosphere. Good and big choice, friendly staff and good quality. The vegetarian raw salmon was the best😄

Great easy to find place - Edit
Lovely vegetarian restaurant, that feels very fancy inside. The big neon vegetarian sign is no longer above the entrance but there is a TV screen in the circular window that says vegetarian restaurant. The food options are a little on the expensive side for Chinese restaurants but the presentation and taste is excellent. When we went they didn't have all the options on the menu and things we kept ordering they would then tell us they didn't have, bit annoying that the iPad ordering system doesn't say what they have and don't have. The food is mostly vegan and if it has eggs or milk in it it does say that it includes these.

one of the best meals - Edit
Blossom was easily one of the best meals i had on my trip to beijing. it was so easy to order considering the ipads, everything was described well, food was on the more expensive end for Beijing, but totally worth it. Loved the dumplings and Kung pao morsels most.

Fancier food but service faulted - Edit
Huakai Vegetarian (144 DonzhimenBeixiaojie, diagonally opposite the ??Hotel), 170909 and 10)
Read moreBig selection (on Ipads), service efficient but lacking warmth and friendliness, portions reasonable, prices getting up a little (275 for 4 of us, 140 for 2 of is). Quite a few dishes spicy (chilli or pepper) and many include cornstarch-based brown sauce which is easy to get tired of, but wide selection mitigates this. Cucumber jiaozi very good.
Pros: food good and resonably diverse, Easy to find
Cons: I-pads less easy to use than a paper menu, service so so, prices climbing up

Lots and lots of options, welcoming atmosphere - Edit
You'll see the large "Vegetarian" sign lit up at the beginning of Gui Jie ("ghost street"). It's a large and spacious restaurant with a lot of traffic. They were welcoming but brisk in their service. You order off an iPad with different language choices including English, and a LOT of different options. The description indicates if the dish has egg or milk, but doesn't specifically say if items are vegan. It's perfectly fine for solo diners and also looks like it caters to groups of all sizes (from 2 to many).
Read moreThe restaurant is on the SE corner of the intersection on the map; the HappyCow map currently indicates the SW corner instead.

Good food, staff a bit unpleasant. - Edit
We used a coupon for a dinner deal at Blossom Vegetarian (7 courses, one drink für RMB 488 for four diners) and maybe that was the reason, the staff wasn't as welcoming as they could have.
Read moreThe first course after ordering came very quickly, too soon afterwards, they gave us the next course, not even having finished the first plates. With Chinese style dinner where you share plates, that works perfectly. When everybody gets their individual plates, the plates just pile up so at time we had twelve plates sitting around and food getting cold. Waiting for more room to put even more plates on the table, the waitress was standing besides my husband and reaching out for my plate when I wasn't even finished. Telling her to wait a couple of minutes, she just silently kept standing next to it and waiting for me to finally finish. I do *not* like being rushed at dinner.
That being said and getting the feeling they want us out as soon as possible, I have to say the food was excellent. All of the courses tasted very good and although I found the gratinated sweet potate a bit too sweet, that is probably due to personal taste. I liked that a lot of courses did not included mock meat like in other restaurants but rather let the vegetable stand for themselves.
The price with the coupon was around RMB 120 per person. A good deal for so much food. Without it, the same meal would have cost around 250 per person. Still okay. There's way more expensive restaurants in Beijing but also a lot of cheaper ones.
Pros: Interior and Atmosphere, Food was delicious, Reasonable prices for drinks
Cons: Staff
