Cannot put into words how much I love Huns - Edit
I first tried a huns burger at a vegan market in Derby. And from then on I craved another one intensely. Amazing chicken. Delicious toppings. I love that they change their burgers regularly. Wish I lived closer bc I would eat this every day.

the fried seitan and spice mix they use is soooo good its the best ive ever had. proper guilty pleasure as its by no means healthy lol, the loaded fries are insane also. i hope they can expand to have seating or move to city centre so i can visit more often!! i bought a meal for 3 of my non vegan friends and they all looooved it. defo recommend 👌👌👌

We were visiting Leicester and my Aussie partner was craving chips and gravy. Being the supportive spouse that I am, I found this vegan gem and immediately recommended it.
Read moreWe had the Gravy Loaded Fries and the Classic Hun Sandwich and were amazed by how good they were - I would say that this is a great mix of southern fried chicken and chips and gravy - addictively good!
The worst that my partner could say is that we wound-up with too much food and he had to choose what he would have left-over, a truly impossible task.

Found Huns at Fargo Summer Vegan Festival and got their Classic burger which is "chicken", lettuce, mayo and pickles (£7.50). The burger is pretty much identical to a meat chicken burger you'd find at a takeaway, if a slightly more crispy coating. The chicken was great and the mayo portion was very generous. Would look out for them at future events.

Heavenly Vegan Burgers - Edit
Everything Huns touches turns to gold. Each item on their menu is totally delicious, the perfect treat. Great portion sizes, excellent value for money and lovely friendly staff. If you are travelling through Leicester or live nearby please try Huns and support a wonderful local business. There food is top notch. Love that they have a loyalty card scheme too.

THE best vegan fast food I've ever tried. The menu is so innovative and the food tastes so fresh. My dad isn't a vegetarian/vegan and he tried one of the burgers and he didn't know it wasn't chicken until I told him. He was extremely impressed too.

Visited huns on a number of occasions and I’ve never been disappointed with what I’ve had. I’ve tried a few things on the menu including Hawaiian Burger, BBQ Burger as well as poutine fries. Go with an empty stomach because they’re sure to fill you up with tasty fast food.

I was never one for fried chicken before being vegan but this is totally different. It really is spicy and meaty and has to to be tried to be believed! The loaded fries are amazing and a portion doesn't look that much but is very filling. The biscoff cheesecake is great if you still have room!

I’m not usually one to write reviews but I had too. I’ve lived in Leicester for three years but never knew about huns until I’m literally about to leave the city, because I move soon I wanted to give it a go, an all vegan takeaway? As I am from a small town in England this is definitely city living. As I was leaving I decided to try a few different things:

So I was skeptical of this because there’s 2 things I’ve always thought veggie/ vegan food couldn’t get right- 1. Vegan cheese- quite frankly I tried it in the past and it’s one of the reasons I for now have been veggie instead of vegan. 2. Veggie / vegan ‘bacon’ I’ve only ever really rated the oumph ‘Smokey bits’ other than that I’ve stayed away from veggie bacon- I think slightly traumatised by Quorn many years ago with their foot sole shaped alternative. So I wasn’t expecting too much, but I don’t know how this tasted incredible. Like so freaking good- am j someone who likes vegan cheese now?? And vegan bacon?? Honestly this was so amazing.
‘Gravy loaded fries’
Chips, gravy and the chicken alternative were all freaking amazing, deffo my fav thing I tried the portion was huge as well, it’s currently sat on my desk next to the half eaten burger waiting to be reheated in my air fryer at one point. The gravy I don’t know what was in that but it’s gorg.
‘Battered jumbo sausage’
As a seaside girl I was really happy to see this on the menu, again skeptical but this was so amazing too. I am honestly so shocked at how good all this food was I am mind blown how much vegan foods improved recently. I would bet meat eaters would eat this without a second thought.
The service was amazing aswell, it’s a little place and space I could see how busy they were but everyone was so nice. Really good experience I may have to pop back to Leicester one day.
