Truly 5 star food - Edit
We went for a fancy dinner at Il Mirto - opting for the 7 course tasting menu as it was our honeymoon. My god this place is amazing. Unbelievable vegan food, all eco and sustainable. The staff were so lovely and excited about the food too. If you’re a vegan in Ischia and you can afford it - don’t miss it!

Wonderful fine dining experience - Edit
My wife picked the restaurant as we were in Ischia, and I am vegan. She had the vegetarian menu, and I did have the vegan one. We also had the wine tasting with it and the cocktails in the beginning.
Read moreFrom start to finish, it was a great experience. The food was impeccable. Before every course I also received the info if the vegetarian course was vegan, too, so I could try.
I had such a great time!If you are in Ischia and are into fine dining, good wine and a beautiful scenery, this is a mist go to.
Pros: Food quality, Service, Wine

Incredible vegan food - Edit
Amazing vegan food in a luxury resort. Creative vegan cuisine meets local dishes. The corn dessert we had was one of the best things I have ever tried. They change the menu every 2/3 months depending on seasonality

Great food in a beautiful restaurant. - Edit
The only real vegan or vegetarian restaurant in Ischia. A must to visit. On the property they also have another restaurant that's just opened, that serves breakfast and lunch.

Amazing! - Edit
Thanks to the other review on here we found this place and decided to book a meal here, best decision I have made in some time. In an island of pasta pomodori, this place is unchallenged for variety and options. It’s expensive but we went for the tasting menu and my word was it worth it! 10 courses, each of which were creative, unique and delicious! If you have the time and are willing to spend a little extra, go here, you won’t be disappointed!

Classy & Delicious - Edit
We loved Il Mirto! Beautiful terrace overlooking the water-lily pond, elegant table and excellent service. Several hors-d'oeuvres offered by the chef including some very intriguing fermented vegetables (such as melon fermented with red onion) and a delicious vegan menu to choose from. We loved their creative version of the Napolitan escarole pizza, the barbecued celeriac, the spaghetti with bean, lemon and seaweed creamy sauce, as well as the vegan dessert with rice & vanilla cream with berries.
Read moreThe staff is young, nice and very passionate about what they do. The chef came to chat with us to ask for our feedback as he's very keen to improve his skills even more.
It is a bit pricey, but they are very honest as they don't apply any coperto or service fees. It's actually not that expensive if you consider that the price included also 5 amuse-bouche, a palette cleanser, home-made bread and grissini as well as some digestivo!
Depending on your budget and appetite you can do a la carte or set menu (4 or 6 courses).
Highly recommended!
Pros: Delicious and beautifully presented food, Beautiful location, Great staff
Cons: A bit pricey, but appropriate for what you get
