Lovely Little Place - Edit
Cool cafe and art space. Loved the Nasi Lemak Rendang Tempe. Their vegan options (there are a good many) all sounded fantastic. They have vegan coconut ice cream and chocolate sauce if you want a sweet treat. Nice people and cool place with a welcoming vibe. Great food!

Good for breakfast - Edit
I had their vegan nasi lemak, a really good place to try this dish vegan in Malaysia. The vegan bacon sandwich was also nice but maybe a little too sweet. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff all in smiles, worth visiting for sure.

Coconut shakes! Tempeh bacon. - Edit
Had the coconut shake and tempeh bacon sandwich, served on fresh bread, and chocolate cake. Still dreaming of the flavors! Next time I would try the wraps, rice dishes and smoothie bowls too if I had a chance. Wish I’d visited sooner!

Five stars! My favorite place in Malaysia! - Edit
Indah is our favorite place in Malaysia so far. It was the first place we came when we arrived in Kuching and it quickly became like a home. Their food is absolutely delicious and they have such an abundant vegan selection! We especially love the Tempe nasi lemak and coconut shake. The whole atmosphere here is wonderful...there is art everywhere and the people are very friendly. We also did a vegan cooking class and learned to make delicious food! If you’re in Kuching please come here! They also have a homestay and do many tours in the area. I would have done all of them if time allowed!

Perfect bites - Edit
The vibe of this place is really cute, much like its food. I came 3 times and each time had something made with a lot of love. The staff are incredibly friendly and there's plenty to look at too. Thankful that this place exists. Tempeh just might be the best thing in the world.

Nice cafe - Edit
Indah is a cool and chilled out cafe with lots of vegan options! We went here a few times during our stay, and didn’t disappoint. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s lots to choose from for a vegan, local and western - I’d recommend the bacon sandwich... so tasty! Vegan cakes are delicious as well, but not always available. Only issue was the price as it can turn out a bit costly if you’re going for a big meal, including the compulsory 10% service charge (even though I had to remind them that I ordered a smoothie). Overall highly recommend!

Artsy cosy - Edit
Down to earth space and food. Many vegan options at really cheap prices. Staff is super efficient and friendly. Food is mostly home made with interesting flavours. I had my cheapest well-flavoured burger here: sweet potato chickpea patty on home made cashew pesto. Nice fresh fruit shake as well. Coffee was average but soy milk is available at least.

handy place for a great breakfast - Edit
Ate here twice, both times left feeling very satisfied. Smoothie bowl was pretty tasty, vegan burger was excellent, and roti canai was incredible. Staff were so friendly and spent a long time explaining which options were vegan (of which there are many). It's a shame they serve meat as they do the veggie thing really well.

Delicious food options & great vegan shakes - Edit
I came back here a few times because the vegan roti canai is absolutely delicious. Combine it with the coconut ice cream shake (vegan too) and you have an excellent day! Strongly recommend these dishes. Plus, they bake their own bread (european style) which you can order a day before, recommended! Kind staff too. They do cooking classes as well, which can be vegan on request.
Read moreCheap as well.
Personally I wasn't a big fan of the pasta pesto... they make their own pesto but add mint, which definitely isn't the original recipe (I'm a cook too and make it quite often) and also the tempeh 'wrap' could be improved... it was just a piece of roti with tempeh, no sauces or veggies added.
Pros: Several vegan options, Nice location, Kind staff
Cons: No wifi

Lovely food! - Edit
We ordered some of the vegan wraps here (the wraps are like a lovely flaky type pastry) which were lovely! We also ordered two smoothies which were very thick and flavoursome. Would definitely go back again! A while separate menu for vegans (we're vegetarian) and a few games you can play as you wait for food. They also support local artists with small cards and drawings you can buy.

vegan menu! - Edit
They have a vegan menu including a vegan burger, a Malay wrap using tempeh and a pasta. They also have two Makay vegan dishes: a roti canai and something like a vegan nasi lemak. The roti canai was amazing with a sweet potato curry. Wish their dessert were vegan.
