Don’t bother - Edit
The food was tasteless. The service was apathetic. Everything tasted the same and really wasn’t very good at all we had chicken tikka and an eggplant masala.

Many vegan options - Edit
Many tasty vegan options all clearly labelled! A nice spot for those wanting a break from Thai food. The staff were knowledgeable about what was vegan and what wasn’t (including the breads and accompanying sauces). Would eat here again.

Mediocre curry. Blatantly overcharged me - Edit
Couldn’t be bothered to fight being overcharged so just paid it but knew it was coming.
Read moreCurry was ok. Rice was ok. Roti was ok. Onion bhajis weren’t that good.
Pros: Indian food makes a nice change
Cons: Not the best curry, Overcharged , Waiter lingers

tasty indian food - Edit
have found throughout thailand that indian restaurants are often the ones with a number of vegetarian dishes usually adaptable or vegan anyway. tasty flavourful indian food. had a bit of trouble asking about the breads and which were vegan as the rest of the menu had clear labels which were vegan until this section which is not great because often naan breads are not and staff did not seem to understand completely so decided not to take the risk and stick with stuff i knew was vegan on the menu.

Good selection of vegan options - Edit
The food was generally good, especially the appetisers. Small mishap with a chicken dish that mysteriously turned up in place of a vegan dish but it was soon rectified.

Just OK - Edit
I have not been to the restaurant but I ordered take-out from here. I used the Tuk app and was confused about which items were vegan and messaged the restaurant, they were extremely helpful with making adjustments to dishes.
Read moreWhen the food arrived I was a little bit disappointed as it was just OK. Nothing I can pinpoint that was wrong but I just expected more flavours.
Pros: Helpful staff
Cons: Bit bland, Not all veg

Delicious vegan Indian food. - Edit
I had the chick peas with curried spinach and cumin basmati rice. The flavors were amazing! I had a little taste just to try before taking a picture and well, I finished the meal with out pause. The menu has many dishes over 80% are vegan and clearly marked. I will be back!

Decent Indian food - Edit
I had the chole bhature, aloo tikki and aloo paratha.
Read moreThe chole bhature were decent but the curry was missing something I can't quite put my finger on. The fried bread was good.
The aloo tikki is different than pictured and is more like a pakora (covered in batter and deep fried). Tasted pretty good though.
Finally the aloo paratha didn't really taste as expected mainly because a different type of flour was used than is typical for Indian parathas/rotis, which gave it more of a white bread flavour.
I don't believe any of the condiments were vegan though (i.e. coriander chutney looked like it has yoghurt in it).
Overall a decent place to get decent Indian food got a decent price.

Vegan friendly - Edit
The definition of a began friendly restaurant. About half the menu is clearly labelled as vegan!
Read moreI had spinach pakora with chutneys which was delicious.
Then a channa masala which was good level spiced, but apart from that did not really take off.
The roti is tandori baked and really good.
Pros: Many clearly labelled vegan options. , Very professionsal staff.

Great Indian food In the old city. - Edit
My wife and I had dinner there tonight and we're very happy with our meals.
Read moreThey have an abundance of clearly labeled vegan options on their menu, pretty much a menus worth in itself. Their signage in front of their restaurant boldly talk's about their vegan offerings, that's how we found them. I even had a vegan Pineapple Lassi, which was wonderful.
Pros: Extensive vegan offerings
Cons: Cash only

Delicious! - Edit
Impressed not only with the amount of vegan options (including naan), but also how low in oil they can make it. Would absolutely recommend the dahl and the saag aloo.

Great food, accommodating owner - Edit
This is probably closer to 5 stars tbh.
Read moreFirstly the menu is clearly labelled, and the owner speaks fluent English. Secondly he is willing to accommodate less oil and salt cooking, which is a massive bonus in my book.
The deals had good flavour and spiciness. The roti was amazing - fresh, hot with just the right amount of chew. They also have a (off the menu) dal roti, which I recommend you try (made GF as well).
Would Deffinitely recommend if you are craving some good Indian food.
EDIT (01.10.2019): went back a couple weeks later and had a really dissapointing meal (at best). The daal were way too salty and they had a weird metallic taste. The roti was severely undercooked - it was like eating flour. And the portion for the ginger tea suddenly went from teapot to mug.
Don't know if they had a bad day or just don't care (weird since I was literally a "regular"). Won't be coming back unfortunately.
Pros: Vegan options, less oil/salt on request
Cons: Needs more vegan options, hit and miss

Vegan-friendly and fresh, tasty Indian food! - Edit
Love this place! Customizable, tasty food. The chef understands veganism, and is happy to accommodate any preferences (ex: less salt, oil, vegan). He also makes delicious samosas (with ginger!). Love that I can taste the vegetables and seasonings with every bite. Definitely recommend samosas, channa masala, dal, and aloo gobi.

This is a wonderful and clean Indian restaurant in the Old City. The Chef knows how to accommodate vegans. My girlfriend and I asked him to use less salt and oil and he was happy to accommodate those requests. The food is fresh, delicious, and well priced.
