Excellent - Edit
This place was easy to miss if you weren’t looking or local. But wow, I loved this place and everything on the menu looked great. The dishes we ordered were fantastic, and Kevin was super nice. I really wished I lived closer, because I would be back here way too much!

Return visit - just as delicious - Edit
We came back because the food was amazing and we were not disappointed.
Read moreBrunch was awesome and the tacos as good as we remembered.
The huevo burrito was very filling and the choice of three hot sauces made it easy to customize the heat/spiciness.

Excellent Mexican Vegan Only Restaurant - Edit
This restaurant was quite lively when we arrived. We had taken to our booth promptly nonetheless. The three of us shared the Grande Nachos for starters, and the Tepache Paloma, the Hongos Quesadilla, and the Enchiladas Verde for mains, with the Churritos for dessert. All were delicious and well presented. The portions were perfectly sized too, for each course. Excellent service. Nice ambiance.

Disappointing - Edit
I’d been to Jajaja years ago and had been so impressed by the food that I decided to make a reservation for a Big Anniversary. The good news was that the food was as good as I remembered, and the restaurant comped our dessert, which was sweet.
Read moreUnfortunately, the rest of the experience wasn’t as good. We felt rushed—for example, getting our appetizers before our cocktails, having one appetizer plate cleared while the other person was still eating, etc. We had three courses in under 60 minutes. On top of that, there was a HAIR in my empanada, the server bumped my drink against the water carafe and spilled some of it, and the middle section where we were seated smelled like someone was smoking cannabis. Overall, not what I hoped for on a special occasion!

Great food and cocktails - Edit
Always seems really busy whenever I visit. Love that the menu prioritizes things like jackfruit and blossoms over fake meats (but the birria streak is really good too!)

Mexican food 100% vegan - Edit
I love going out to eat Mexican food and that all the dishes are vegan! We shared Grande Nachos and I ordered the Chorizo Burrito with a very good spicy touch. In general I liked it. I recommend booking because it gets crowded.

Best meal I’ve had in NY - Edit
Went here with my vegan/GF daughter so we both ordered GF. I had the Dino kale bowl with chicken and she had the huevos burrito in a bowl. We both LOVED our dinner and the hibiscus pie we ordered for dessert. The service was excellent as well.

Incredible Vegan Mexican Food - Edit
This was the highlight of my trip to NYC. I highly recommend the West Village location because of the beautiful patio. The food isn't too expensive either, drinks are another story. The chorizo burrito was incredible, and I recommend trying some of their different tacos. This restaurant is every food photographer or bloggers dream. Everything is beautiful and has such a vibrancy. This is definitely a destination restaurant.

Great atmosphere & great food. I got the Taco Tazón bowl which was excellent (& super filling!). They also had really good guacamole. Definitely worth a stop by if you’re in NYC.

The food is muy delicioso! - Edit
We ate here twice while staying in the West Village area - once for dinner and today for brunch. The food was very tasty and very filling, but the best part is that our meals were cruelty free! The atmosphere is lovely and our servers were both friendly and helpful. (I didn't know what almond horchata was?) Make sure you eat at jajaja, even if you're not vegan, you'll leave satiated and happy! Bonus - try the choco picante pie - you will not regret it!

The Nachos - Edit
Perfect summer brunch spot, with a pet-friendly patio. Had nachos (a meal in itself), palm carnitas tacos, and a spicy watermelon mezcal cocktail. The tacos were missing something but everything else was excellent.

Great - Edit
Second time going to Jajaja, first time this location. I got the side of fermented beans, flan, and kale pancakes- don't be afraid, it's basically just for coloring, the kale is completely undetectable. Just fluffy, stretchy, delicious pancakes. All were great, flan was incredible. Wasn't exactly what I remember flan to taste like, but it was it's own unique delicacy, possibly even better
Read more*gorditas with daring chicken - very good
*nachos - great
*mole tamal - very good
*es quite - good, but a little funky tasting. Maybe less cream sauce
Their sauces were also great, my fav was the charcoal, the rest of the table like the yellow/orange fruity one. My gf had the chilaquilas also from the brunch menu, which I thought were delicious. My friend had an horchata drink which he loved.

So happy to have found enchiladas again! - Edit
OMG these enchiladas were bomb. I could barely tell it was plant-based and the roasted dragon fruit inside was amazing. Will definitely have to come back for more.

Nice Food - Edit
Service was nice and it was fun to see an all vegan menu. Maybe we chose poorly, but none of us were properly wowed by our dishes - everything was fine. In the end it felt a bit expensive for what it was. We had the quesadilla, enchiladas mole, and chorizo burrito, and everything was nicely seasoned and flavoured.
