Serves meat, vegan options available. Indian restaurant offering a range of dishes that can be adapted to be vegan. The owner has a good understanding of vegan diets and regularly serves vegan customers. On the menu is a vegan thali and there are other vegan dishes that are not marked but the owner can point them out. Also offers a mango dessert made with almond milk. Previously called Garam Masala. Open Mon-Sat 12:00-14:30, 19:00-22:30.

Typical Indian food with vegan options - Edit
Joshore Road is an Indian restaurant offering several naturally vegan dishes. However, they are not clearly indicated on the menu and the staff is not always very clear or knowledgeable about the vegan nature of the dishes. The dishes are rather good and spicy almost like in India. I tried the samoussas and an eggplant curry which were good. The place is nice and often full. It was not my best experience of an Indian restaurant but it can be worth it if you are really looking for this kind of food.

Would go back for the panipuri alone - Edit
!! Don’t follow the Google maps link from HC, instead, type in the address yourself to find the place. !!
Read moreWe had four starters for two people and I don’t regret a thing. I’d definitely go back for the Panipuri alone.
They have some vegan options and can easily veganise several more. Also left out cilantro when I asked. Good atmosphere and kind staff. They don’t offer the vegan mango desert anymore, but suggested to bring home made vegan strawberry ice cream. I had to pass as I was stuffed from all the good food.
Pros: Appetizers, especially the panipuri -, Cozy, yet feels open

Various marked vegan options - Edit
The remarks in the menu are not always sufficient, tho, good thing the waiter had a basic understanding of what's vegan and told us about what we could order and what we couldn't. The food was really tasty and we got plenty of variation in the end.
