A cozy vegan cafe and community art space. Menu is fully plant-based since Sep 2021, and nearly everything is locally sourced. Opened Nov 2015 in a lively neighborhood (Besiktas). Language, dance, photography, meditation, acting and music lessons are planned to take place here with moderate pricing. Construction materials used in the cafe are primarily recycled or rescued from street. So much wood and almost no plastic. NA means no in Kurdish and Persian and stands for no to consumerism, expensive life, animal exploitation, violence against women and more. Open Tue-Fri 10:30am-8:30pm, Sat-Sun 9:30am-8:30pm.

5* The Best Vegan Food In Istanbul - Edit
Absolutely loved the food. Ordered the wheat with meatballs (from some foreign country), and the kebab with pilau. The food was 5* Absolutely delicious. The wheat was a bit salty, but it was like risotto almost. I wish I ordered that instead of rice.
Read moreThe mulberry juice was tasty and sour apple.
All food was HOT and fresh and quick service. The souffle was good.
I would definitely come back again tomorrow.

Pros: Wheat was yummy, Mulberry juice was lovely. Got free tea, Nice staff/service
Cons: Need to scan for menu, only 1 dessert, The door doesn't close so it gets cold, Closed Monday and shuts at 8 30pm

The breakfast! Holy smokes! - Edit
I ordered the jelan breakfast and the variety of food was beyond impressive. And it's a cosy, welcoming space that's easy to spend a few hours in with a book.

Yummy food - Edit
This is the first restaurant we go to after arriving in Istanbul! The place was small but nicely decorated & there was only one person serving us (presumably the owner?). We were a family of 6 and we ordered a lot and we came near closing time but he was very patient! When the food came we were very satisfied! Everything was sooo goood. I especially loved the Turkish ravioli and the wraps! They were also kind enough to bring a plate of delicious watermelon! Definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. Everything was worth it. The bill was also fair for the food we ate.

Chocolate soufflé 🤤 - Edit
This place was on my list for such a long time and I finally got a chance to visit. So glad I did! My mate had the Turkish ravioli with spinach and she loved it whilst I had chocolate soufflé. The taste, texture and way it looks 🤤🥰

Come for the mantı with köfte - Edit
After trying KafeNAsanat, I'm regretting that I waited so long to come here! There are more dishes on this menu that I want to try, but the mantı with köfte really was perfect. This plate does not taste like a traditional Turkish mantı. It has its own special flavor in an extremely enjoyable way. There are a lot of fresh veggies, too. I'm not sure what they're using as a mock meat for the köfte, and I'm not sure if it's housemade, but it's a really great meat and seasoned very well.

Service was friendly, but they took quite a while to notice that I was there. You will need a phone with you, as the menu at the restaurant is a QR code. Mantı with köfte and one small sparkling water came out to ₺306. There is a small (5%) discount if you pay with cash

I needed food for the airport and stumbled across this place.
Read moreAsked for falafel salad in my container and the women who served us were super friendly. Went out her way to make us comfortable while we waited for our takeaway.
The falafel was very delicious, a decent amount for the price that was paid. The salad was super fresh and flavoursome . A variety of veg, herbs and even nuts.
Hummus was given in a separate container and even juicy melon.
Wish I had come across this place when I had more time in Istanbul.

We had a nice time - Edit
The breakfast for two for 400 Lira came with fresh apple juice and tea. The price is high, but food really good, we sat next to the door which was really chilly. Cute cat was our company. Recommended if you have the budget for it:-)

A reason to be in Istanbul! - Edit
Very sweet, warm and cozy place with friendly people animating it and a wide range of homemade tasty and really pleasant dishes. Everything is prepared fresh on the spot still the timings are short. We enjoyed our time greatly in this upcycled environment in a small street in a beautiful green neighbourhood. Tip: we highly recommend to walk to the sweet place from taxim passing through the beautiful green park and the music school! Highly recommended.
