WAY too salty - Edit
I got bowl #6 - the bowl with tempeh and teriyaki sauce. It was way too salty. Not even flavorful and salty, just like brown liquid salt. The other ingredients were bland. And all this for 15 euro? There are better and cheaper vegan bowls you can get at a supermarket like Rewe.

Healthy and delicious - Edit
At first it looks very one-sided: you get these poké bowls and some of them are vegan. You choose your base (I usually go for sushi rice), your poké (basically the protein part), your toppings, your "crunch" and your finish (in case you didn't know: sriracha mayo is vegan). Or you just go for one of the signature bowls, out of which I can highly recommend the Canggu Bowl that comes with creamy tempeh and crispy seaweed - the savory tempeh and the nori's flavors of the sea make it kind of a surf & turf experience. So far so good.
Read moreBut wait, there's more! With their focus on poké bowls it is easy to miss the rest. For starters you can have edamame or miso soup with tofu. They also have rolls and salads, but I don't know if the wakame or the kimchi are vegan - the coleslaw definitely is not. As dessert you can have coconut milk-based panna cotta which is tasty albeit somewhat expensive for the size of the serving. If you want dairy-free coffee, they have Oatly's Barista Edition. And before noon you can order porridge bowls which are made with oat milk and just like with the poké bowls you can choose your toppings. Those are, however, far too huge for their own good - order to take away, you might not be able to finish on-site.
All in all this place is very vegan-friendly and has a nice variety of delicious and healthy dishes that extend beyond the poké bowls they are known for. It might be somewhat pricey, but in my opinion well worth the money (except for the panna cotta perhaps). My only dissatisfaction is with the fact I'd have to ask if some of the dishes (like the kimchi which is often made with fish sauce) are actually vegan. Clearly labeling the dishes as vegan/vegetarian or indicating the allergens would be helpful here.

Fette bowls - Edit
Fette bowls und kompetentes Personal. Sind gut informiert darüber was vegan ist und was nicht. Sogar einige Omni Freunde finden die bowls mit tofu&tempeh besser als mit Fleisch!

My bowl of happiness - Edit
After a hard day of work, I was looking for the closest place to eat. According to Happy Cow, from my hotel, "Ben's Burgers" was the closest thing. Looking inside, I saw a fat tattooed guy eating a meaty burger and that was reason enough to keep walking. About 2 minutes along the same street is "Kahuna Poke Bros". On the outside it says "Your bowl of happiness" in huge letters. That seems like the place I have to be!
Read moreThe staff speaks English and told me to fill out a form (in German) indicating what I would like to eat. Kahuna Poke Bros has two vegan options, however they are not clearly labelled on the form. I really needed the help from the staff for that! The base of the bowl can be made from white rice, brown rice, quinoa or vegetables. One can opt for a medium or large bowl. I advice the medium bowl, it was more than enough (even when hungry).
One way to recognize healthy food is a variety in colour and this poke bowl ticks all the boxes. Also, the many ingredients work well together. Of course the taste of the sauce dominates the flavour (just a hint of spicy), but the original taste from the base ingredients remains. The ingredients all seemed to be of reasonable quality.
The only regret I had was ordering a drink. From the picture on the label I assumed this was pure fruit juice, but instead I got a fizzy sugar drink.
Pros: great taste, fair price, big portions
Cons: only in German, vegan options not clearly labelled

Best Poké in Frankfurt - Edit
Very cool looking restaurant with relaxed atmosphere and great staff. Tofu and tempeh as vegan Poké options and two kinds of vegan finish: Teriyaki and Sriracha Mayo. They also have vegan dessert, Oatly milk alternative and vegan smoothie bowls for breakfast.
