We tried the vegan Pad Krapaoh, stir fried mushrooms with basil and had the best vegan papaya salad ever!🤩 The restaraunt itself ist pretty as well.

We had an unfortunately bad experience at Khemkhon Charoen Nakhorn on Thurseday (3/12) around 9 pm. I was going there with a friend and we were looking at the menu outside of the restaurant for sometime then we entered. The male staff (maybe cook) inside looked and creepily stared at us for quite sometime like he was really annoyed by our presence. We ordered drinks (which is not cheap and even more expensive than a lot of the dishes there btw) then we heard some lady voice from the kitchen said really loudly that "Oh, they ordered just drink!".
Read moreAfter we had the drink we asked the staff if we could leave reviews and get our desserts as they advertised. Then the staff said "No, you need to order food". So I asked them where do they write that we can't have the dessert if we order drink. And she just replied "It is not written." So I kinda told her that we feel like it's dishonest campaign and have to report on that. I asked other friend and they said they were never gotten declined like that with this rule before.
To be completely from this experience here what it's feel like for us is that from all the way we were treated since we entered the restaurant is that they see their customers as people who are gonna exploit them as much as they can. I get it if you feel like you don't like your own campaign that you made yourself anymore and want to adjust it. But just making new rules on the whims and treating customers like that are signs of disrespect, dishonesty and unprofessional manners. And it's such a shame because it was such a nice place and location with foods that we like in a reasonable price range. But from what we experienced, it's very unlikely that we will step in Kemkon's place or use any of their products anymore.

Amazing flavours - Edit
I ordered the Khao Soi with soy chicken, and it was stunning! Gorgeous flavours and just the right amount. It’s nice to see a menu where you’d happily work your way through every dish! I also had an Oreo Frappe which was immense - 100% recommend!
