Nice Thai food - Edit
The food is tasty and the staff is nice. However the dumplings were a small portion for the price. The Pad Thai was delicious.

Tasty faux fish rice noodle salad - Edit
I was craving something cool, so got the faux fish salad which was super fresh and had the perfect combination of citrus (lime) and saltiness. The staff was kind and the prices reasonable. No frills atmosphere but very convenient to the flower market and a relatively short walk to Wat Pho, etc. Only tip is it would be great for them to provide fresh water in glass bottles, something a spot in Chiang Mai did and which I really appreciated.

Instant Favorite - Edit
This was the first restaurant I visited in Thailand and quickly became the only one I wanted to visit despite Thailand’s amazing choices because this place’s food is just absolutely incredible. I have thought about it several times since eating there. Take me back!!!

Kem-Kon is always a solid choice - Edit
Been to the other branch in Khon Kaen before and know it’s a solid place. The food is always good and the service too. Very friendly people working here. I opted for the dumplings to try the vegan boiled egg. The egg was outstanding, especially the texture is amazing. The dumplings itself were a bit bland, but I know their other dishes are very delicious, so I think it was just a mismatch for me. Iced lemonade was good.

Fine? - Edit
Like a lot of other review, it was alright. Maybe I should try their sweets.
Read moreI did really love their Thai milk tea milkshake. That was great.
I had their Khao Soi with crab, and chrispy chicken with lime sauce.
I've heard so much about Khao Soi, how much it's everyone's favorite but this was a bad introduction to it. I was also surprised how small it was, (like thank goodness, I forgot I'm on my own now and definitely ordered too much food)because the chrispy chicken that was an appetizer was close to the same size.
The chrispy chicken was fine. That and the crab was very similar. I'm not a huge fan of that replacement meat type texture and they added some kind of texture on the bottom to mimic chicken fat? Which I really wasn't a fan of.
Overall, not my fave. Their western desserts look really good so maybe I'll stop by later to see?
Pros: Cute spot, friendly staff, Milkshakes not too sweet, very good!
Cons: Expensive, Not favorite "meat" texture, Small main meal portions?

Such a disappointment - Edit
From the bottom of my heart I am not in a position to recommend this place.
Read moreThe AC was running like Usain Bolt in his prime and when we asked if it could be turned down they just turned it off, but turned the one next to it on.
However the prices were expensive and the portion size was a joke. My main dish had the size of an appetizer and we will head to the next place straight afterwards.
Needless to say that my food came 10 minutes earlier than my sister's. So we both ate separately.
The mushrooms in her dish were straight out of a can.
Bah!
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Where do I even start???

Great fake meat, okay dishes - Edit
I will give this place 4 stars because the fake meat tastes amazing. The overall impression of the dishes were okay, but not something I would come back for to be honest. The vegan egg didn't taste like anything. The massaman curry portion was the smallest I've ever seen, lol.
