fav veg takeout in brooklyn

would give five stars if i could! they have a huge, clearly labeled vegan menu (even a vegan kids menu). i would recommend the sides and tacos over the bowls which don’t travel as well ime. my go-tos are the nachos with falafel or tofu, ssam taco, falafel taco, and rice cakes. frozen margs are fun too.

Great find

Found this little spot on our way from the Brooklyn Botanical Garden to the Barclay’s Center. Several vegan options (labeled). Gluten free options as well. The fusion aspect is charming - tteokbokki comes in a molcajete. I had one of each of the three vegan tacos- all great. Would stop by again.

Pros: Several vegan options (labeled), Good food fast service, Good for takeout

Cons: Like much in NY, small location

If I could give this 5 stars I would

Best flavors I've had in a long time. We got the ssam taco, the spicy korean taco, and the seasonal veggie taco, and the rice cakes and the tofu and kale mandy. So good! The rice cakes were prepared well but just not my preference. Definitely worth a try at least once. I'm really happy with my experience here. The woman at the counter was so patient and they had absolutely no problem replacing the food that accidentally came out with dairy cheese.
