I was on vacation and had been recommended to visit here. There were so many spots to hit on my list I didn’t expect to go anywhere twice… but I loved it so much I came back on my last night in San Diego! On the first visit I had the Patty Melt which just blew my expectations away & the s’mores sliders for dessert. I expected these to be warm but they came cold and actually really enjoyed them too! On my second visit I tried the Skewers which were great for sharing & the Egg Roll Burger which I can honestly say was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The entire vibe of the place is so cool. I can’t wait to visit again and again and again!

The sourdough grilled cheese with caramelized onions is one of my favorite grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had, vegan or not. It’s awesome. Nice bartenders and great drinks, beautiful ambience, not as expensive as I was expecting. It says they are open until 10 but they started doing last call for food at 8:45 and it felt pretty rushed and chaotic. Don’t expect to get there late and be able to eat. I will definitely go back.

The wait was pretty long but BOY was it worth it🤩 The environment and open-air concept was sooooo bad-a, the service was great, and the menu structure is brilliant! The portions and prices are small, so my friends and I basically ordered the entire menu and just shared everything. It was the PERFECT place for my 30th birthday dinner! the best meal I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating. I had the palm tacos with a palace of certainty cocktail and the snickerdoodle s'mores for dessert. the tacos were flawless - the flavors went together perfectly and nothing was too strong/took over, it all mixed just right. similar to a fish taco in textures and toppings, but better than anything I've ever had in terms of flavor. seriously. great portion size (although it was so good I would be happy eating their food endlessly..) the dessert was the perfect ending to a delicious meal, also great size.

To describe the eatery’s decor and style—think Goth vegans with a sense of humor. The menu is 100% vegan. The mocktails and cocktails are delicious. They also offer kombucha. Just remember it is a bar, so while it’s not a dive in the least, the menu, which does change occasionally, usually features finger food, burgers with fresh made potato chips, po’ boys, salads, and tacos (hearts of palm). I loved the po’ boy, and my husband loved their Impossible burger. We’ve also brought family here for weekend brunch, and that was a treat for my taste buds also.
