Delicious Iranian food - great spot - Edit
Happy hour menu is great. Multiple vegan friendly appetizers. Vegan dishes clearly marked on the menu. The olives were amazing and one of the better dishes I've had anywhere in a while. Highly recommended. I had the Mirzaghasemi (garlicky eggplant & chickpea) as a main dish (served with rice). Was also delicious. They have a great looking vegan friendly bowl that is takeout only (separate menu for takeout) - will need to try that next time. This meal was dine in and was a very pleasant experience.

Authentic and delicious - Edit
A few but good vegan options. Very authentic and garnished beautifully. They didn’t have the black sheep lamb dishes but the appetizer and chickpea dishes were yummy.

Do not recommend - Edit
My experience was extremely disappointing. The portion size was far too small considering the exorbitant price I had to pay. My dish did not resemble its authentic flavor at all. Moreover, the restaurant had an unpleasant atmosphere, limited menu options, and inconvenient parking arrangements.

Vegan friendly! My first time eating at a Persian restaurant :) - Edit
I met a friend for lunch there who is omnivore and there were options for both of us as well as GF options, all very clearly labeled on the menu which I appreciate! I was a little surprised by the way some of the food was served (a dish labeled as a stew but then it arrives as a plate with a small bowl of stew, a ton of rice, and some greens and herbs on the plate like a salad but no dressing?) and I wasn't expecting so much sour flavor (but I'm a newb when it comes to Persian food, so...) but actually really ended up liking it! The flavors combined in an interesting and tasty way- an exciting food adventure!

A very exciting meal - Edit
Every dish we tried was delicious and unique. If you’re tired of getting similar stuff from different restaurants, this is a great option to shake things up.

Dishes I've never experienced before! - Edit
I loved my experience at Komaaj. The food was made fresh, filled with herbs and spices that were so delicious. I have eaten my share of Mediterranean cuisine, and this Northern Iranian restaurant has very different flavors. They have many vegan options, and also because its more rice-based, it's gluten free friendly.
