Make sure to ask for no burger sauce (has eggs)!

Standard Komagene location, I better or worse than any of the others. Just make sure to specify no burger sauce if you’re vegan, as the sauce does contain eggs.

Good cigkofte

We had the medium spicy cigkofte. Spicy enough for western European taste buds 😜.
Will definetly come back, very good snack location:-)

Deserves zero stars

Was looking forward to this place but frankly, incredibly disappointed. Nothing was marked vegan, vegetarian or with allergens listed for a start. The guy working there spoke no English, which would be fine but when we showed him the English to Turkish Google translation of 'do you have vegan options?' he shrugged at us and made 'no idea, how should i know?' noises. Very disappointing as I've read in a few places that I need to try this 'cig kofte'. Also, we could see from the posters on the wall that they served dairy and possibly meat (advertising durum kebap dripping with meat juices and cheese). Frankly, more than a bit offputting. We ended up at 'viktor levi sarapevi' which though pricey, had clearly marked vegan options of a satisfactory variety.

Pros: Zero.

Cons: See my review.

Okay, not great

The çiğkofte was okay, but not incredible. They didn’t remove the stems from herbs that they put in the durum. It’s okay for a quick bit, but nothing more. Also the place did not look very clean.

Cheap and good ciğ köfte

Inexpensive and tasty. Outdoor seating, great for after party hunger

Cons: Could be fully vegan (offers ayran)
