Pricey ... but ice cream!

This is a cute little convenient store that offers a nice selection of basic needs plus gourmet items geared to tourists. Their selection of vegan ice creams locally made in Hilo by Hawaiian Licks is outstanding!

Unfortunately, their "made-to-order" food isn't special. While I appreciate that they have vegan chili, vegan wings, and 3 types of vegan burgers (Beyond, taro, chipotle), the prep time and the portion size are not worth the price. I assume that Covid-19 has impacted their business and offerings which is too bad because the owners are really nice.

Nice offerings for small store, but way overpriced

Small convenience type store. Surprisingly decent selection of vegan offerings - made to order small pizza, vegan burger, and Hawaiian licks. Everything was several dollars over priced- especially the prepared food. The prices were $8-$14 for the burger, pizza, and prepared food which is $3-$5 over priced for the portion and since it is all take out. I do appreciate that even a small convenience store has such a large selection of vegan offerings though. Management was also nice.

Pros: Decent selection of vegan food

Cons: Expensive and not solely vegan

Convenient but a little pricey

Lots of vegan grocery products offered, as well as take away food. We had a mushroom and cheese pizza which was delicious but little expensive. I did enjoy supporting a small family-owned business.

Sells Hawaiian licks

You must try the Hawaiian licks ice cream here. It's addictive. You can also get vegan deli food and vegan snacks here as well. Management is very friendly.

Pros: Friendly management

Cons: expensive
