Vegan dessert - Edit
Just stopped by for something sweet but was impressed by the number of vegan options. The chocolate mousse was very nice😄

Decent options - Edit
We ordered the couscous and veggie ball tagine, and confirmed there would be no butter/dairy in the couscous (it says vegetarian only on the menu). The veggie ball tagine was just okay but the couscous we were served had butter. Another server explained it was smet, which they don't consider butter but it's obviously still a dairy product.
Read moreTo replace this, we ordered the fava bean tagine which was excellent. Pickled pearl onions, preserved lemon peel, and fava beans.

Vegan options but just okay - Edit
Clearly labeled vegan options and lovely atmosphere on the rooftop, but the food was mediocre. Burger was really dry, with the bun crumbling as we ate.

Medium quality, many choices - Edit
I had the burger and then bun was super old and dry. Also rather small but enough for me. Coming from Berlin I would say not value for the money. Cool thing is that they really have various vegan dishes to chose from.

Bad food and service - Edit
The only reason I'm giving this a 2 stars is I at least appreciate they clearly labelled vegan food. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. I had the vegan spaghetti - the veggie balls were horrid so would not recommend. My companion had the tagine and said it didn't have much flavour. I will say the vegan cigar trio starter was nice though.

Lovely rooftop with vegan options - Edit
This restaurant is well located and has a very nice rooftop with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The menu clearly indicates the vegan options, which we really appreciated.
Read moreWe ordered the Trio Cigars as a starter and really enjoyed them. For the main course, we had the vegetable couscous — it was delicious, though quite spicy, as most Moroccan food tends to be.

Good food, difficult experience - Edit
I love that they have marked the vegan options on the menu and that they accept credit cards.
Read moreThe prices are high but normal for Marrakech medina.
I was disappointed that the vegan kofta tajine was not available, so I ordered the vegan pastilla instead. It was well made but too sweet for me.
The vegan cigaros were great, but also with cinnamon.
We had a miscommunication problem so they didn't note my bf tajine, and we had to wait a lot. Difficult to communicate in English.
Pros: Tasty, Marked vegan options, Credit cards accepted
Cons: Difficult communication, Vegan kofta not available, Pricey

Panoramic view - Edit
Great spot to spontaneously have dinner, since no reservation is required. The view from the top terrace is amazing! You can see the Atlas mountains beautifully. Vegan options are clearly named, although one had honey listed. I first wanted the vegan spaghetti, but it was not available, so I settled for the burger. It was good except for the dip. The cigars were okay. My husband was also very happy with his vegetarian couscous. He could not notice anything clearly non-vegan about it, so maybe it was vegan as well.

Nice vegan tagine - Edit
Venue is lovely on a busy street. The staff are very kind and attentive. I had the vegan tagine which is basically vegan meatballs in a tomato sauce which was very tasty, quite a small portion but that is reflected in the price of about £8

Scam food, do not go here - Edit
The menu has a couple of hopeful, clearly labeled vegan options. We ordered the bstilla with soy protein, the soy protein was nowhere to be found. Ordered the "vegan burger" which showed up with cheese, and it was admitted that there is no vegan burger in the kitchen at all. The vegetable couscous we ordered was flavorless and smelled like it had been cooked with chicken or meat. Do not go here.

Semi Preis Leistung - Edit
Preise sehr hoch.

We booked a table in advance for my birthday. They surprised us and had made a fully vegan cake on the house!!!
Read moreThe venue is perfectly located and super accessible. The service was beyond what I could have expected. This review is a little late as it’s coming from October 29th 2022…

If I could give them 5 stars I absolutely would😄

Clearly labeled vegan options on the menu! I loved the Beatles theme! I had the vegan tagine - veggie balls, which were good! Dined on the rooftop patio, which was comfortable and quiet. Really enjoyed my visit!

Not for me - Edit
Actually the vegetable balls were great but our cous cous was nothing but sweet on the outside and tasted like nothing on the inside but the main problem is that I do not trust this place. I got a vegan chocolate mousse and inside was a waffle as a decoration but I highly doubt that it was vegan so I don’t know if they really understand what being vegan really means…

We had the soup and salad mix as starters and the veggie balls and couscous as main dishes. The soup and the main dishes lacked of salt, except that it was good.

Ok place, wont rush back - Edit
Big V or vegetarian signs next to alot of options. Friendly waiter and nice rooftoop terrace and able to watching the sunset. The food to be honest wasnt great. I had the soup, i just found it a bit bland and the vegan burger was not nice at all. Not sure what it was but it just fell apart along with the crusty roll. A bit disappointed

Good food but unfortunate hair in food - Edit
We ordered a veggie ball tagine which tasted good, but unfortunately there was a nasty hair in my food which completely ruined our lunch. Of course, it may happen, but it is definitely unpleasant.

We couldn't go to the rooftop as they said it was for reservations only. The lower roof was very pretty still and the music was nice. The soy pastille was tasty but I think it has honey in and the meatball tajine was good but they were beany rather than meaty. I ordered chips with it too which were nice. The chocolate mousse was amazing

Was craving a dessert so 5/5 - Edit
This place has the vegan options clearly marked, we asked two of the waiters if the V was vegetarian or vegan and they said it was vegan, and then we clarified if that meant no milk and no egg and they confirmed that. I forgot to ask about honey but I think they mostly knew what they were talking about.
Read moreThe food was average, we had the veggie ball tagine, the veggie balls spaghetti and the pastilla with soy. The desserts were very good though. We asked if they were still doing the chocolate cigars as we have seen a recent review on here about them but they were not in the menu, and been told that they can make them for us. They were so good! The atmosphere was nice and the building was traditional and clean.
Pros: Excellent dessert, Nice building, Clearly marked vegan options
Cons: Pricey, Average food (a bit bland), Slow

The staff was very nice and the place is big and has a nice ambiance with rooftop, terrace and indoor AC seating. We had the homemade lemonade which was great, vegetable couscous and Moroccan salads. The food was good, although it was not the best we had in Morocco but all in all it was a really nice place and good experience.

Schwiya Zine - Edit
The waiter was unsure whether the V label meant vegan or vegetarian on their menu. We ordered the burger he knew for sure was vegan. We found the entire dish cold and burnt at the same time. We asked for the waiter to fix it, and he had the dish microwaved. We politely declined the food and stood up to leave, when a colleague waiter came and promised the pastilla was vegan and not vegetarian. We ordered one and found it to be tasty, so we ordered another. We ended up only having to pay for the 2 (hopefully vegan) pastillas and our water. To this day, I am not sure whether the pastilla was vegan.
