$5 lunch - Edit
Govinda, the owner of this food truck, is a true hero. He runs this truck as a personal mission to do his part in battling food insecurity. His plates are priced at $5 (but really, this is a suggested donation and he never turns you away if you're in need).

Each plate is packed with flavor, nutrition, and love. He runs a set menu for each day of the week. It always comes with a glass of lemonade and chips. Don't worry about the portion sizes. You're sure to leave satisfied.
But most importantly, the owner is a genuinely good person. He always stands outside his food truck, personally greeting customers and taking their orders. He takes great pride in his work and is always ecstatic to share updates about how his business is doing and how much he is helping his community. I've spoken to him many times and he understands the food insecurity crisis that students face, hence the pricing and proximity to UCLA. In order to break even, he must sell 70 plates daily, so please frequent this place as much as you can.

Amazing lunch every time I go, plus the samosas are excellent. The people there are working hard to and feed our food insecure UCLA students. Buying a lunch helps them keep going!

Inexpensive Lunch Next to UCLA - Edit
I found the food truck while on a visit to UCLA. They told me their purpose is to help students get a nutritious and inexpensive vegan or vegetarian meal for lunch. They are only here on weekdays 11-2. I didn't not have time to sample the food but thought it worth posting here.
