Perfect for brunch - Edit
Simple but great brunch classics. I was a little jealous that there wasn’t a vegan version of the Turkish eggs, but the tofu scramble also hit the spot. Would really recommend going in the morning when the weather is nice and sitting outside. It’s giving southern European vibes.

Cute place and nice view - Edit
On busy days make sure to book a table just in case. We were lucky and got seated without one.
Read moreThe place is very «fancy», and you can really tell by the prices. I got the vegan American pancakes and a mocktail. Cost me 325kr for both, so wouldn’t eat there again considering the small portions. It tasted good tho!

A treat - Edit
We had a lovely breakfast here - avocado and tofu on toast, iced coffees, nice juices. We got super lucky because we came when a L’occitane event was on so got freebies including coffee. Our server was very friendly too!

Nice, for Oslo - Edit
It seems there aren't many veggie places in Oslo so I hate to give this place a weak score. It's nice, though on reflection I wouldn't call it fabulous. - it's not a restaurant really, more a small "coffee/mimosa/brunch with the stroller" kind of place. Nice view out over the harbour. My tofu bowl was nicely flavoured (though mostly rice), and the server was a bit overwhelmed but very nice& friendly.

Disappointing - Edit
It’s a popular place & you might need a reservation for a Saturday; we just got in without one (arrived around 12). There were surprisingly few vegan options for a veggie place. The food and drinks were quite pricey, eg 7NOK for oat milk & 25NOK for maple syrup. We ordered two lots of pancakes (only other option was avocado toast which is a bit basic) and hot drinks (tumeric latte & gingerbread latte). My drink (gingerbread latte) came with a ginger bread biscuit which they didn’t know if the ginger bread biscuit was vegan or not and made no attempt to check or apologise for sticking in my drink. Overall I think the place valued style over substance. The pancakes were a bit dry and stodgy and it needed toppings between the layers to help with this which it didn’t have. They charge extra for maple syrup. I enjoyed the contrast of the tart compote and berries with the cream. It cost 549nok (£42) for two lots of pancakes (one maple syrup) and two hot drinks with oat milk. I know Norway is expensive but this was ridiculous (we got better & cheaper food elsewhere) #Veganuary

Lovely restaurant/lunch spot - Edit
I went to Kumi for lunch and the restaurant is lovely. The vegan options are clearly marked with a "V," making it easy to find. I went for a basic lunch: Avocado toast, hummus and extra bread. They also have pancakes, salad, sweet potato fries, oat yogurt (I did not check I'd they had vegan desserts).
Read moreNB! Keep in mind that the music played on the speakers is quite loud.
Pros: Vegan options clearly marked , Lovely interior
Cons: Loud music

The best place to eat in Oslo - Edit
The head chef is amazing and the food is amazing too. The French omelette, the vegan American pancakes and the sweet potato, potato salad, brioche dish, Vegan variation of the yoghurt parfait, the mimosa, and the rhubarb sprits are all AMAZING. I literally can’t recommend anywhere else in the city to go over this place. The restaurant is vegetarian with fabulous vegan items, but my non vegan/ vegetarian friends loved it. The view is amazing and the location is great. Inside and outside dining is great. Bring sunglasses if you eat outside the water and the white tables are bright when it is sunny out. Best place to eat in Oslo.

OK Sunday Brunch - Edit
Went here for Sunday brunch with a friend. I had the vegan American pancakes with berries, and they were quite good, and their fresh juices are really good. The seating was very uncomfortable, though, and the acoustique made it extremely difficult for me to hear what my friend said. Also, REALLY expensive.

Nice place, good coffee - Edit
The interior is quite nice, as is the location of this place. The Overall atmosphere/style is a nice mix of modern and cozy. Their coffee is good and the avocado bread was too - though a bit bland, honestly.

Best vegan food in Oslo - Edit
We had some disappointimg experiences in Oslo, but Kumi's food was delicious. We had the vegan pancakes and vegan Quesadilla as well as some fresh juices. Portions were good for the price in Norway, we can definitely recommend it!

Good but tiny portions - Edit
We came for dinner, so the menu was quite different than in the description above. We got a burriata and dim sum. The burriata was good, but the dim sum were disappointing, and both portions were appetizer-sized. This was annoying as we asked the server specifically whether the portions were large or more like tapas. I wouldn't recommend coming for dinner unless you already ate.

Nice café - Edit
Very nice people and a really nice place. I had the coziest one with some pillows and a view outside. I liked the pancakes and the great chai latte. Would definitively come back. Only negative point: I didn't like the music which could have been a bit less loud.

Great food, great place - Edit
First of all, the overall design and interior of the place is amazing. It is also in a great neighbourhood and is right next to the water. We had a seat near the huge window and could enjoy the lovely view. I had the vegan pancakes, which I really enjoyed. The whipped cream it came with was delicious. My boyfriend had the kimchi and cheese sandwich (non-vegan) and he loved it. You get free water, hence we didn‘t get additional drinks. The girl who served us was really friendly. We didn‘t have to wait long for the food at all. Spacious and clean toilet is available too. Highly recommend!
