Everything I had on my visit here a few years ago was so amazing. They may no longer have a storefront, but upon checking their fb page, it appears Kushites is still offering catering, cakes and occasional lunch delivery! Follow on fb! Let’s keep showing support!

I loved the stew!! Was definitely spicy but was very tasty and portion size was perfect. I had escovitch mushrooms but was really disappointed not sure if it was because I got them delivered and they weren’t as hot but wouldn’t order them again

Kushites is the BEST vegan restaurant in Jamaica - there is no competition in taste, range of menu options or presentation of the meals. They are truly world-class and truly vegan. In fact, it's a vegan fine dining experience. All meals are prepared fresh, with high quality ingredients, reflecting not only use of local ingredients, but a range of other global culinary influences which are ALWAYS vegan and super tasty- Indonesian, West African, Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Indian.
Read moreEvery kind of vegan can find something on their beautiful menus- there are always cooked and raw options...AND if you have special vegan dietary requirements or tastes- for example no oil/frying, no sugar, Sebi-inspired, alkaline- a quick chat with your server will get you something deliciously modified from the menu or created especially for you.
Every few months, they change their menu, often offering as many as 2 dozen completely new menu creations. You can have a quick bite, with a burger, salad or smoothie or a proper multi-course meal with appetizers, entree and dessert! You will HAVE to visit a couple of times to try everything. Excellent atmosphere, great ambient music, great for romantic lunches or a family dinner.
If you're a vegan foodie, Kushites is your place!!!

Big up Kushite’s a must try - Edit
I’ve been to vegan restaurants all over the world. This one is the best!!!! Amazing food in an upscale setting with sweet roots and culture reggae music playing in the background. If you are in Kingston be sure to try it. Healthy and like all Jamaican food better than any were else in the world. I’m biased but see for yourself! Wish I could take them back to the States with me.

The food is very good. I would say this restaurant is vegetarian or veg-friendly because they often non-vegetable dishes. The presentation of the food is good too.

Hi, we must be talking about two different places. I had a wonderful dinner at the Tulip restaurant at Eden Garden Wellness Resort and Spa. Their menu said they offer steak and fish (http://edengardenswellness.com/dining/tulips). If I have posted this review in the wrong place I am sorry.
