A Mixed Bag - Edit
This was the first vege/vegan stall I happened upon in the market where it is located, so I thought I’d give it a shot. The highlights were eight treasure porridge and the spring roll, both full of flavour and an absolute delight. The lowlights were chicken rice and the wontons; both a little dry and lacking in any real depth. And in the middle ground we have the hash brown! A curious addition to the menu and nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing special either.

Great - Edit
This was a lovely little find. Lots of choice, great prices, nice food and the woman who worked / ran it was so lovely. Will come back to try some of the other dishes I didn’t try first time around.

Just not up to par - Edit
Maybe it's just my poor luck, but both times I've gotten food from here, I've been sorely disappointed. In the picture, we have brown rice that is a mushy mess, some mushroom dish that is overly salty (with black fungus that is slimy), and green beans that are overcooked and taste of nothing. The only redeeming dish is the acar, which they probably bought. Would not recommend.

Pros: No queues during lunch rush hour
Cons: Cai fan dishes are not good

Options are quite many - Edit
The chicken rice is good ($4)! I wanted to try the Laksa as well but it wasn’t available, so I settled with the rice 3 dishes set. Everything tasted the same and the portion for the dishes were quite small. 😅

Good amount of dishes to select - Edit
Quite pricey, $7.80 for 4 dishes and pineapple fried rice. Fried rice doesn’t have any wok hey, quite lackluster.

Best Laksa Ever - Edit
It has to be their Laksa! The rest of their dishes are mostly vegetarian and contains mock meats.
