Need to improve

There is the only organic-healthy store in Barranco.

Pros: Nice style

Cons: Expensive. Nothing special.

Very little for a lot of money

We walked in to this eco-friendly and natural store which is beautifully located and has a very welcoming interior and style.
We went for the "menu del dia" which is a common thing in latin america which often means you get a 3 straight for a good price.
18 soles was for a soup and for a main course and if you want a dessert it's 5 soles extra. You can choose between 2 different main courses.
We had both.
It was probably the smallest portions we've had in our 2 month stay in Peru and also the least flavorful. No vegetables or anything extra on the plates. Only beans and rice (white beans in tomato sauce) or gnocchi (with no flavor at all).
It was a huge disapointment.

Pros: Beautiful store and restaurant, Gluten free

Cons: Bigger meals, Use the wonderful herbs and vegetables you have, Learn to cook

Typical eco-tienda

Not bad, not amazing in my opinion. Typical health focused grocery store. Nice option while in the Barranco area. Nice selection of teas and dried herbs.

Great find

We just had an almond milk milkshake and a coffee and bought some chocolate. Lovely inside and seemed to have a few good vegan options for meals too.

Vegan ice cream!

This is a really nice little shop, run by a friendly woman, and they have vegan ice cream in the freezer by the front door, made by Mamina Productos Naturales (or Saludables). They are 15 soles for a half liter (Mamina sells her ice cream at the Barranco farmers market every Sunday for 12 soles a half liter), and are made from almond milk and they are incredible! They usually have Coconut, Chocolate, and Passion Fruit and Mango (not made with milk). I love this store so much for the sole reason that they have delicious vegan ice cream readily available whenever I feel like indulging.

Pros: Vegan ice cream, Friendly staff

Cons: Price difference in ice cream

Just a natural food tienda, really

I wouldn't call this a restaurant so much as a natural food store. I'm rating this 3 stars based solely on the fact that I could only order a cup of coffee there and even that, they didn't really want to do.

That's the bad. The good is they had an amazingly friendly staff and an impressive inventory of vegan-friendly items for purchase. I don't have a kitchen here in Lima so that didn't help me much though.

They have a little café area. If they were to get that running and serve even small items, I'd likely boost their rating substantially. For now, just consider this place a natural food tienda.

Pros: Lots of items to take home and prepare your own ve

Cons: No real meal options

would go again!

Had a great lunch for cheap! The food was simple but tasty and there is also a small health food store and fun thrift clothing store in here.
