Lots of vegan options for both ingredients and pre-made food - Edit
Vegetarian cafe, sandwich shop, and market. Has pantry staples (flour, granola, almond milk), tofu, frozen food, pre-made fresh food, and food they make on demand. Lots of vegan options. They make all their bread and fake meat in house.
We got the mila al pan and the chvito al pan. Both vegan and both were delicious. I would highly recommend this place to vegans for both ingredients and food ready to eat.
Good vegan options but uses a lot of plastic - Edit
Place has cool vegan options like burgers, wraps and salads, they also offer nice desserts like cookies or brownies. Has a store inside with many options.
Sadly they run out of compostable containers quite often and use a lot of plastic. Food is good but some ingredients you can tell are from a can, which I personally don't mind that much but I prefer to eat fresh when I eat out.
This was the first place I ate at in Montevideo, so I was very happy to go eat there. However, once I found other places, I much prefered them, and didn't find a reason to go back here.
The buffet had no labels for what was vegan and not vegan, so I asked, but they told me only the spring rolls were vegan, out of ten dishes!
Then I looked at the fridge section, the guy working there told me most of the things displayed are vegetarian, but they have vegan versions as well. I asked for the veggie burger in vegan form, and the guy just went to the back of the store and got it for me.
Is it really that difficult to display vegan options, instead of people having to be awkward and ask for them? Surely they would sell much better if they are on view and we know they exist -_-
The burger tasted good, thankfully :) But the vegan brownie I got from the counter was really dry.
Also, I saw two tables, but they were meant for sharing with strangers, which really put me off of eating there.
Also, there was nowhere to put dirty cutlery, which meant I had to ask he staff to take it for me, and they were already so busy.
Overall, the burger was good, but the brownie isn't, and I wasn't very pleased with the organisation of the store
It's hard to find any food in Montevideo when you are vegan, so I was very happy to find this small shop that put my starvation to rest! During my trip I tried the strogonoff, green salat, raw alfajor, fruit salat, and the portobello salat. Everything was yummy, and the prices are fantastic for Montevideo standards. The juice is freshly made and delicious. Simply loved it! I wish I had them as neighbours!

The place is narrow and seems to lack a more creative product selection. It is in a high tourist area and should expand their horizons. One lonely table in the back, but basically take outs only.

Not good - Edit
In march 2013 I got sick by eating the special luch of the day, a gluten vinaigrette with white rice and too much oil on in.
