Good but not many options

The menu offers only one dish & one dessert vegan (which is not surprising considering it's a flammekueche restaurant). They are good, especially the sweet one (I had one with pear and chocolate) and the marinated tofu on the salty one is really tasty.
It's a good place to go with non-vegan people to have something to eat but it's not exceptionnal.

Nice surprise

We had the surprise to discover that this traditional restaurant is pretty much vegan friendly (the owner's sister is vegan and vgn options are clearly listed).
From starters to dessert, you can eat vegan as a mixed salad, a flammekueche and a sweet flammekueche are on the menu.
I tasted the salty flammekueche called "Volksvegan" (German speakers as well as car enthusiasts will get probably the joke) made with soy cream, mushrooms, onions, lemon marinated smoked tofu and spices... including caraway (the combination works very well!). The dish was delicious and not too pricey (10,50€).
Do not hesitate to ask to "veganise" some non-vegan flammekueche.

Besides the food, the restaurant is well located with a nice view on the Battant bridge and the staff is very friendly.
I will definitely come back for the rest of the vegan friendly menu !

Pros: Vegan friendly (although traditional) , Vegan options clearly listed, Great combination of ingredients (spices etc)
