Go to vegan pastries - Edit
If you go anywhere in Paris, go to one of these many locations. Everything is delicious and there’s so much to try you could go there times a day for multiple days and not have everything!

One of the fully vegan bakeries in Paris - Edit
One of the better vegan bakeries in Paris.
Read moreLocated in the beautiful Monmartre region, not far from the Sacre Coeur.
Very friendly and fast service.
Prices are a bit higher than normal but well worth it.
This one is a small place so you may not always find a table to sit at.
Definitely recommend trying to go to one of their establishments in Paris. (they have many across Paris)

Paradis des pâtisseries à Montmartre 🥐⛪ - Edit
Visited 14th of March, 2026.
Read moreBefore visiting Sacré-Cœur in beautiful Montmartre,
we wanted a last wild breakfast at magical Land & Monkeys.
There's a délicieux mont of sandwiches, bagels, focaccia,
pizza, pastries, cookies, brownies, tartes, macarons, croissants, etc etc etc.
The list goes on. Unbelivable.
We had amazing, freshly baked croissants, that tasted the most French we've ever experienced.
On top of that, a heavenly, -otherworldly- apricot and pistachio tarte, that was almost making us cry (happy tears).
Shopping list:
- Bagel forestier (barbecue mushrooms, mayonnaise, arugula, fried onions, pickled onions) 7 €
- Tarte fine abricots pistache (thin apricot and pistachio tart) 4,50 €
- Tarte fine poires et chocolat (thin pear and chocolate tart) 4,50 €
- Croissants 1,40 €
- Matcha latte 6 €
- Cappuccino 4,50 €
To go:
- Moon bread (chocolate gluten free bread) 2,50 €
- Focaccia tomate olive 6,50 €
- Chimp cookie (pistachio cookie) 4 €
Tout est parfait! Je recommande vivement!🔥🥐❤️

Fantastic! - Edit
Fantastic vegan bakery! It feels like a dream come true: french pastry, vegan! I couldn't decide on what to order and got more than I could eat so I took some stuff home. Loved the eclair, the chocolate brioche and the olive/tomato focaccia.

Onverwacht! - Edit
Onverwachte plek een land and monkeys.

This branch of the bakery chain did not disappoint me either. Both the sweet and savory baked goods taste excellent. The macarons are to die for.

My favorite place in Paris - Edit
None does vegan pastries like Land and Monkeys (although that one time I was disappointed with the pain au raisins).

Maybe just check what is fresh - Edit
We previously had really good experience at another branch of Land and Monkeys, but this one was dissapoiting. We went early expecting fresh pastries but were served cold, stale and soggy croissants (both the plain and almond were equally as bad) that tasted like yesterdays. Next time I would ask what is fresh before buying.

Wonderful café - Edit
Absolutely wonderful experience! The service was quick, friendly, and genuinely warm. The café itself is super cute, and I love that everything is fully vegan with so many great options to choose from.
Read moreWe tried the latte and the mochaccino, both were excellent and the viennoiseries were just as amazing: fresh, flaky, and full of flavor. It’s such a treat to find a place that pairs great coffee with delicious plant-based pastries. So many options it was hard to choose.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Pros: The service, The lattes, The Viennoiseries
Cons: No bathrooms

Takeaway - Edit
With only a couple of tables you will be extremely lucky to eat inside. It was full when we visited which marred our breakfast visit as there is quite a walk to find anywhere nearby to sit down to enjoy your purchases.
Read moreThe selection is amazing- however this does not come cheap. We enjoyed our quiches, the pain au raisin was incredible & the chimp cookie was tasty.
On a negative note, the coffee was weak, the tofu focaccia sandwich was mostly bread & the olive roll was sparsely filled with olives-unlike the ones on display

Best croissants and pain au chocolat - Edit
The croissants and pain au chocolat were so soft and buttery. 10/10 recommend coming here for those two things alone. You have to pay extra to dine-in though there wasn't much space anyways.

Indeed dreams are made here. - Edit
Dreamy range of vegan delights making it near impossible to choose until you panic order. Smaller shop here than some of the larger ones with only 4 tables inside but a bar with stools at the windows too. They didn’t seem to have a toilet at this one. The focaccia wasn’t my favorite but possibly as I’m not crazy on parsley which it was covered with. The almond croissant I hadn’t seen at other venues so I felt I had to snatch that up while I could. It was yummy and smashed. The prices are quite reasonable too. Lovely coffee as well.

amazing as always - Edit
i love land & monkeys so much, whenever i am in paris, i visit them at least once a day. in my view, the croissants, pain au chocolats and other "simple" products are very affordable (less than 2€). some other items including quiche, tartes and more, are a bit more pricey. still absolutely worth the money!
