Le lieu est sobre, le personnel très agréable, et la nourriture joliment présentée et délicieuse. Le tofu bourguignon et le curry de légumes étaient vraiment bons, et la planche de fromages végétaux incroyable.

Perfect restaurant, our one time going out for diner during our vacation in France. Went all out, taking a gazpacho cold soup as a starter, which was yummy with the hot wheather. Grilled seitan as a main, very good! Raspberry cake as desert to top it all of. All was very good, nice variation on the menu and tasted amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful with translations, constantly providing us with tapwater with ice-cubes non-stop, and we were able to sit outside. In one word: great! Definatly go there and see and taste for yourself!

Like an elephant a le mérite de proposer une cuisine véritablement végétalienne et c'est assez rare! La carte est travaillée et les plats sont plutôt joliment présentés.

Un restaurant totalement vegan qui propose des plats raffinés très bons (au choix : 3 entrées, 4 plats qui changent régulièrement). Les pommes de terre au four servies avec le burger (différent chaque semaine) sont très bonne. J'ai eu l'occasion de goûter une blanquette à base de protéines de soja, champignons et carottes servie avec du riz noir et des légumes croquants et c'était bluffant ! Un résultat très réussi en goût mais qui était un peu faible en quantités par rapport au prix. Ce jour là 2 choix de dessert : fraisier ou forêt noire.

I had heard a lot about that restaurant and decided to try it out. Everything from the starters, to the dessert and also the wine were stunning ! The menu is seasonal, the textures are bomb, the food is freshly made with love and you can definitely taste that ! the atmosphere is pretty chic&casual, not too fancy but still adapted for a business dinner for example. Special mention to the purple potato gnocchis and the incredible, crunchy and melty textures of the desserts ! The Seitan roulade was really tasty too ! They have a wide selection of wines and some local beers too.

Best vegan meal in a long time! - Edit
After a day of exploring Lyon, Like an Elephant was the perfect end to a fabulous day. What a pleasure to have a chef reallyy be creative ! I had a wonderful meal, starting with the Coleslaw revisited, the seitan, and ending with a delicious forêt noire. I wish I lived in Lyon just for this lovely new vegan spot.
