quick and for low budget very suitable - Edit
it didn't seem a place to eat but once you are inside it surely is. Very friendly staff and food was served extremely fast. it's a little dirty but not too bad. Food was good and cheap.

Perfect for a student budget! - Edit
Lots of options here, and the serving is pretty large so it will last two meals unless you have a relatively large appetite😄

Nice tofu and soy meat - Edit
Went there several times and had mostly good food. I like their soy meat and dumplings. However once I had the spaghetti with tomatoes, broccoli and tofu which was the most ugliest dish I've had since a long time. Definitely don't order that. One day later some other Chinese people had the same dish as I could see on their table and they liked it I think. But European standard is different and better. Tomato sauce tasted like pure chemicals and spaghetti were cooked really soft so the whole dish was soaked into the sauce. Couldn't finished.

Delicious 😍 - Edit
Ordering was easily done on the iPad, and food came out shortly after. Both dishes were delicious and reasonably sized - I bought two because I was very, very hungry... Don't forget to walk off your meal along the Hung Hom Promenade.

all-round best vegan restaurant in Hong Kong - Edit
There are a lot of similar Buddhist restaurants in Hong Kong but this is by far the best, especially for lunch. 40 dollars for a set lunch is just about the cheapest you can get, yet the quality of the food is, in my opinion, great. One staff member speaks good English and always helps me and explains the options. It's not fancy, not a place for a date or special occasion, but for what it is I don't think you can get better.

Very good food. They have a regular menu and a spicy menu with pictures on an iPad. Try the sweet-and-sour glutenballs and the BBQ-Seitan! You can also have your food for take-away.

very friendly nice people - Edit
What we liked is the neighborhood it's in and the temple across the street is very interesting. Must see. The food is not that tasty, a little bland. We ordered the dumpling noodle soup (bland and lumps of noodles stick together) not a big deal, the egg plant with black pepper is the best dish. Fu Jian fried rice is so so.. broccoli with mushrooms is very tasty.

It's pretty good here. Tasty Chinese food at reasonable prices. The guy serving was helpful enough. I was with a native Canto speaker but for anyone eating in a group without native Chinese speakers, the guy serving today spoke at least some English.

Friendly service and tasty, simple food - Edit
I visited with my husband and two children last night. It's a neat little place and something a bit different. The menu is massive and I'd recommend ordering from the "spicy food" menu that the waitress brought on an iPad. Both dishes we ordered from that menu were the best in my opinion. The waitress was really friendly and even gave us some tourist tips for our remaining time in HK. We had a lovely experience and I would thoroughly recommend this place.

Simple and delicious! - Edit
This is one of those Buddhist Restaurants you find a lot in Hongkong and China. There's a shelf with buddhist books, there's a TV with teachings and the music playing in the background is chanted mantras. The interieur is simple, the tableware is plastic, so you might not want to take your date or your parents, but you'll get delicious vegetarian food for an okay price.
There's a wide selection of dishes on the menu and there should be something for everyone.
I especially recommend the black moss rolls.
We ordered five items for four people, and we were full and actually had some left.
As the other reviewer already pointed out, the guy at the cash desk speaks English.
