Great coffee and cinnamon rolls

Accidentally ordered a latte without specifying oat milk. Realised as soon as I tasted it. They replaced it with an oat one free of charge despite it being my own mistake.

Coffee quite pricey but hubby who's conneiseur assures me it's very very good!

Vegan tax alert

I loved the fact that the cinnamon bun n and the amaretti are vegan, but why on earth do establishments persist with the ridiculous non-dairy surcharge. It must end. I will never pay it and will always tell the owner why this is unfair.

Pros: Cinnamon bun

Cons: 30p oat milk surcharge with no alternatives

Hi, it costs 30p more to produce the oat equivalent of a drink. It’s not a vegan tax; if an item on the menu costs more to produce then it’s charged at a higher price.

Pfft. If you're selling items you call vegan, then make us feel as welcome as everyone else. Btw, EVERYONE can eat vegan.

Avo Toast!

The avo toast with black lime and pomegranate was recommended and didn’t disappoint. Their flat white with oat milk had a distinctive fruity flavour.

Pros: Vegan cakes

Cons: Busy

Good specialty coffee and toast

Fantastic avocado toast with dukkah, and proper specialty coffee. Tasty minestrone daily soup. Good ambiance.
